Oh my gosh this little series I’m planning on making for October is gonna be the start of my next art block
trying to design outfits that reflects a character’s personality without explaining it is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to fucking do

My forgetfull ass tried to do one of those inktober things (although I wrote one for my myself personalized and everything) I forgot to do the FIRST day

Okay so I have a good chunk of art that I didn’t post I might just post it on Instagram on I think Saturday if any cares to see it at all um
I Also might start a small series on there in a few weeks
im not gonna say what it’ll be about you’ll just have to wait and see

Ive been wanting to draw this for quite a while
I dunno which version i like more I went for just like desserts im general but asking writing this I realized a cinnamon roll would make the most sense since their fur patterns is literally based of common rolls
idk why I didn’t think of that until now
I’ll probably be posting some official art of this design in a few weeks

Again I tried to experiment with coloring styles with the one in the middle I kept or at least tried to keep it kinda monochrome
I feel like I did too much and not enough at the same time I don’t hate it but I don’t really like it was much as I wanted to
oh and the one on the left i really like the way I drew the folding clothes on the jeans and the way I drew the shoes mwah

I really wanted to try experimenting with different coloring styles with the one on the left and the chibis on the bottom right especially
I think their all really nice but I could’ve done better
the left i think the colors look okay but I think the shading might be too soft?? But I do like that but I do want harder shadows
and with the chibis I feel like I did too much with the way I did the fur
And I think there might be a bit too much texture on the one on the left but then again I adore it when there’s a lot of texture I think I just need to find a good mix between textured and not textured coloring
but I think this is a good step forward in finding my coloring style

Um i don’t really know what my thought process was when making this
just know they’re supposed to be a robot
I tried adding kid core elements but I think I failed ngl it just looks really out of place and makes the design look clunky
i wanted to use the primary colors Yk red blue and yellow
But more pastel not really sure if I like it or not
I might try experimenting with more of a frutiger aero aesthetic or a cyber punk aesthetic maybe I dunno
I think this is pretty good as a base design

I’m gonna be honest for a second the “what’s your favorite food?” Question IS SO STUPID
like it’s way too vague for me
like there’s SO many different foods most I haven’t and maybe never try
I’d rather have somone ask me “what’s your favorite meal?” Or “what’s your favorite vegetable/fruit”
BE MORE SPECIFIC
it’s so confusing like wdym by favorite food half of the time good food is with/made with OTHER FOOD do I have to describe every single thing in that specific food ???
and what if it changes do I have to update you??
this is probably just a me thing but it does genuinely confuse me
