So uh i did this while @minnowww was drawing the ref XD this is moments before Copper(ima js call him that) himself was trapped beneath a tree.

so let me illiterate rq (since ima bout to swim)off of what i read from minnowww(u can take any of these ideas i come ul with🥹)

Copper runs into camp, realizing his family is trapped. He first spots hus mate, who he thought was alive, only to see her crushed by a tree, life seeping out to the dirt beneath. Before he could do anything, another tree trapped him. His mother with two kits wasnt far before they we’re engulfed by the dirt above the den they were hiding in, while is father was engulfed by the flames, charing his body past repair

anywho lets get to talking abt it since i have motivation.(ima say who she is first then get to why she’s protecting Bird)

Crystal is a FallenSouls cat who was never supposed to be there. She was mates with SunCatcher but never had any kits. She was murdered by Nero, SunCatcher was too. In the Zenith Fates trial, the stars told SunCatcher to confess to a crime he committed long ago, but he blamed Crystal instead out of panic. Crystal didn’t believe in the stars then so the stars couldn’t see her and the truth. They trusted SunCatcher and banished her to the FallenSouls.

When in the FallenSouls, your soul gets corrupted but somehow Crystals didn’t. She dreamed of kits she never had, but when she found Bird, she was like the daughter she never had so she became a mother figure to Bird and ended up helping Bird get away from Nero.

Bird and Nero were training and Bird was getting torn apart by him(like she was being bruised badly because she can’t get hurt in the FallenSouls hence her injuries turn into bad bruises except for one time. Crystal jumped in and tore Nero off her and attacking him, promising that she wouldn’t make the same mistake twice

what was this mistake? Well….

when SunCatcher and Crystal were together, SunCatcher was a highly respected member of a vicious group(for ex: liek Scourges or Darktail’s) one day she was invited to come, and onyl the strongest members survived. She witnessed SunCatcher himself tear appart and kill a mother and her kits. This haunted Crystal even to this very moment.

SunCatcher later left this past behind, but the stars and Crystal never forgot.

Oh and since she js in the FallenSouls land, no spirits are transparent, they inly are in the overworld(jsyk

This is lore but not lore

im also unsure of the lyrics being “can” or “could” but i used could anyway no matter what bc its past tense for this scene is two things: a flashback and this cat realizing that she looked at her like that the day she figured out something

so this is an oc AFTER the story if Bird. If you can’t tell by how similar she is, this is Bird’s daughter, Raven.

HELL NO I AINT EXPLAINING MORE LORE THAN THIS:

basically Raven was friends with someone until something happened (which shall not be said) and her friend attacked her, giving her that nasty scar. Someone wants to help her whom used to be a past enemy that hated Bird’s guts. And as Raven allies with him, she does some things that are better off for only the stars and her to know.

anywho this is when Aph touched the Realm Breaker/Soul Echo and went into this weird place with blue orbs that are later to be found as her parallel souls(I’m not getting into that) and how all the voices she heard were from different series with my fav being: you were using to me…THIS WHOLE TIME.?! (From My Inner Demons but the exact quote is: You guys were using me? THIS WHOLE TIME!) with mermaid tales not including “guys” when it is said

Also when Aph is a human/in the Soul Echo, she has the mark of Irene bc my head cannon is in every universe she is related to that version of Irene (I believe their is Irene the Matron in every universe except maybe My Inner Demons)

anywho I kinda js pictured it and liked it so I did it and lowkey I wanna make this Aphs official design for every catified drawing I make of her(including Ava bc I swear that’s a version of her)

lowkey also made it bc I’m sad this ep is over a year old and that the series ended

anywho this is Rust and Bird. Basically Nero manipulated and controlled Bird like a puppet, leading her to believe that Rust inly wanted the worst for her after a fight between them. Rust knew something was wrong with Bird and when she got attacked, Rust knew that it wasn’t Bird who was attacking her, but it was Nero kinda, hence where the words come from: its not what you are, its just what you did…

idk rly how to describe this without saying the whole story but there

oh an alternate line was goign to be: and why should I deserve a place in the stars when death is all around me…

Uhh snippet from the last lines in my book:

Bird ran after Atlas, taking sharp inhales of the setting suns air. Atlas never told her where they were going, but Bird put her full trust in him. It’s been almost four seasons since they first met the real each other, and Bird never regretted a single second of it. Atlas was her home, and wherever he went, she would follow. The crisp WiltingTree air swiveled around Bird as she took in every moment. It was beautiful out. Stars started to peek out and twinkle one by one, leaves fell off the once rattled braches before subsiding to the ground. The tall meadow grass waved with the wind and tickled Bird as she chased after Atlas.
Atlas stopped hardily. Bird almost ran into him, but before she could say anything, her words were taken away by where Atlas had taken her. The tree. The tree that sat in the middle of the meadow, its think leafage making it almost impossible to see the sky above. This is where they first met.
“You….remembered…” Bird whispered. She’d almost forgotten this place existed. Atlas gave one look, still not speaking a word before disappearing underneath the tree. Bird knew exactly what he wanted her to do.
Bird sunk her claws into the hard bark of the tree, and climb up swiftly like she’d done all those season before. She sat on the branch that seemed so familiar to her. She looked down, unable to see the unique pelt of her mate. But she knew that he was looking up as Bird anticipated those words…
”Why don’t you come down here so I can say it to your face, Hopper?” Atlas laughed. Bird smiled, the same feeling entering her all those times before.
”No way Silv, you’re just jealous you can’t climb well!” Bird jumped down from the tree and nuzzled him, his breath warm in the crisp air.
”You know I love you, Tree Hopper…” Atlas sighed as he gave a quick lick to Bird’s ear.
”I know Silver…I would give anything to just be with you…” Bird sighed. After everything they been through, they found peace within themselves, and Bird hoped this could last forever, “I love you too…”

i feel like Layla is an acceptable villain like her mom betrayed her and she was basically tortured and everything like yes she had the reasons to become one but kill everyone?…i go with Aph on this side when she said “that little girl on the docks didnt do it!” Im js questioning how aph was able to sing a song when she was a mermaid and not a siren like Zena and Layla but still i lowkey loved da show but my fav character was either Aph or Zena like i lowkey feel bad for them even tho they dont show their hurt

i lowkey like her design i made and stuff but this is based off the last ep kinda(not scene wise) but with how she behaved wanting to kill everyone with the black lullaby
