I want to finally let one of my OCs out of the closet. Please meet Ember.
So around the time the Let’s Go games came out, I started really getting back into Pokémon. Essentially these games introduced me to the whole other side of the franchise that I still respect to this day.
The OC came from me imagining different stories a Pokemon character could experienced. Specifically, this guy was designed after the blond variant of Chase. This is why he has a Pikachu.
And as for Vaporeon… please do not think ill of me. I had no nefarious intentions when assigning him this Pokémon. I simply wanted to complete the Fire-Electric-Water trio. Young me would never have thought years later this Pokémon would be ruined in such a disgusting… :(
Alright, back to the main reason I post this.
During the Pandemic, I figured I can’t just let this guy sit around.
Thus, I have decided to make a comic. I wanted to do something similar to how Ash travelled across multiple regions. Hoenn was at the time (and to this day) my favourite region, thus I decided to skip the first 2 and move straight onto volume 3!
So I did.
I only finished working on it completely February 2025. Yes! It took a long time cuz this freaking comic was 400 ish pages long and took roughly 5 years to make.
But here the dilemma starts. I have never even posted anything related to it anywhere on the internet. Only ever showed to close irl schoolmates. There are a lot of things about it that I would want to change since a lot of time has passed, and my knowledge on comic making grew. Some things such as horrible passing (hence the 400 pages) and a horrible jump in art skill from first to last page… it just isn’t really a good reading experience overall.
But I guess, it isn’t really a piece of literature, more like a diary of visual progress.
My question is, should I still post it one day? Even if it is very mid at best, would anyone in here still want to read through? Even if just to see the progress and stuff?
I would love to hear your thoughts.

As to me, the writing of the new one is much better. At least I have a script this time around, not just scene ideas haha. Only at around 60ish pages out of Arceus knows how many, but see you in 5 years when it’s done

Anyway, a while back ago, I made custom cards themed after my comic! Since I’m sorta going through a small art block, and school work is ganging up on me, I have decided to repost some of the arts I made for the cards!
I decided to try and make some cool photos at the school yard and voila! I’ll be posting them through the next weeks :D
This one was inspired by the art style of Shimaris Yukichi.
In fact, a lot of the cards I drew for my custom set were inspired by some official tcg artist’s styles (cuz I wanted to make it feel as authentic as possible 
)

Had to reupload this to test out a hypothesis. Instread of using the “Add to Gallery” from the My artdesk feature, I added it directly from the Gallery in hopes this doesnt start hiding comments Update: unfortunately my hypothesis was disproved and it all lead to nothing

Yeah, unfortunately can’t import a Psd cuz I was silly and drew it in a CMYK colour profile and unfortunately Procreate doesn’t let me change it back into RGB
Well, guess we all learn new stuff every day. Magma doesn’t let you import CMYK psds. Just take a mental note about that for the future lol
Anyway, this was mostly me drawing him and coping with the fact that I likely won’t pull him sob.
That sword/cane was difficult to draw tho.
Even after trying I still don’t think I did a good enough job.
Anyway, appart from the cane, I’m happy how this turned out :>

Honestly this very much surprised me to my core. I wasn’t expecting this. Just so you understand, they rarely get any acknowledgment. It put me in a very happy mood for the entire day :)
So yeah, I doodled them! I’m not going to draw them IN their alt outfits yet (since technically it hasn’t officially been revealed) but I drew ‘em hanging out with the Pokemon they will get, that being Wo-Chen and Ting-Lu!

I am not planning to promote anything, mostly cuz I do not have there resources to sell anything; I just want to show stuff off
Specifically, what if I want to show off the art for a print I did, without wanting to put on the full res PSD of the art so that it doesn’t get stolen. Ofc, you can always put a low res of the art, but … not only it will be a bit hard on the eyes of the viewers, in the day and age of AI anyone can just upscale the art and resell it.
Not that I feel like I am good enough for my art to be stolen. It’s just that, if I ever wanna sell these in the future, I do not want to deal with copycat, even if the odds of that happening is low :’)
Yeah, I don’t think I have the patience to do photorealism properly.
This was drawn in Procreate and took 1 and a half hours.
Honestly not a big fan of how it turned out. If I feel motivated, might go back and redo some stuff.
Uhhh anyway… it’s for a world I’m sorta working on. Mostly practice. I feel like this would look good as a comic panel background, not really good as a standalone illustration :/

So there was this one leak that revealed some information about the Elite Four Members of this generation. Mostly just descriptions. Nobody can confirm yet how true these are but…. I decided to draw an interpretation of what these characters could look like solely based of description!
When the games come out, let’s see how close I was haha

How is this supposed to take more effort than generating an image?! Like, even if we put aside the whole environmental ethics debate for a moment, this is a just plain stupid argument.
Besides, if we’re talking specifically about Infographs, ai just hallucinates stuff up. Its not a reliable resource! There are a lot of instances where it just makes up stuff that doesn't exist!
Sure, there are stuff made by real people containing mistakes, yet they are still less frequent than ai hallucinations.
Why would any teacher use something that can spread misinformation willingly? Shame on these people 
I'm in my school live lesson right now, and I asked my teacher, "If the school doesn't want us to use AI, how come it uses it to make the images and parts of the presentations used to teach us?"
and my teacher responded its becuase its easier to make an AI image than it is to look and and google images for a presentation, i responded, "this is true, but there are much easier ways to make these presentations, like looking up images and finding them themself, using ai is actively harming the environment to make the presentations" again she mentioned looking it up is harder then putting it into AI, even knowing the environmental harms that comes with generating images.This sparked a debate between the students, with the teacher saying the school makes it because it's quicker and easier to do than spend real time doing something non-harmful, while also making the argument that us using AI for any part of school isnt allowed, and it makes it seem like we don't know how to actually do the assignment. Well, could that not be the same for the people using AI to MAKE the presentations used to TEACH us? A large lake near me could run out of water by 2027 due to AI. People are losing clean water, air is being polluted, yet still, it's "easier to use AI to make presentations to teach you with than to do it myself"
Why do we have this double standard? Don't use AI for assignments made with AI?
its becuase adult have "already learned" the necessary things to teach; then why don't they do it themselves? Because AI is easier

Well, you shouldn't use it either way; if you already know the material, USE IT. Don't make a robot do the work you spent years in school LEARNING. Studies have been done; people who use AI often have less critical thinking skills, and when faced with a problem that would need them to think deeply, they are UNABLE to do it. Why? Because whenever faced with a problem, their minds default to asking AI because it already knows the answer, so why would I spend time trying to figure it out?
AI is harmful not only to our environment but to our minds. STOP using AI for school, and STOP using AI to make assignments to teach.

I got sick. I feel better now, but now school work caught up and so I gotta study :’)

Hey there. I have a weird question.
So, I got bored and decided to boot up my old Omega Ruby file. I decided to Masuda method a shiny Torchic since it is one of my fave shinies.
So… I was riding around my bike hatching eggs. The area I was riding at was in between Verdanturf and Route 117, but sometimes when I got bored I would slide further to the east to the gates of Mauville.
But um… today, when I exited out of the gates, instead of entering Route 117, I was transported to this weird room. It had nothing but this very weird red looking tree. Oh and the music was very weird. It was like a jazzy piano tune. I know ORAS’s ost by heart but I never heard that track before!
When I interacted with this tree, it said something like mentioned some sort of man and it offered me an egg! Then, upon further interaction it stated the man was gone.
When I went to check my party (it wasn’t full yet since I only started the shunting session) I noticed that another egg has been added to my party.
In three 900ish hours I spent in this game, I have never seen something like this! Does this have something to do with these bad eggs that are caused by hacking the game? I am a bit scared. What should I do? I’m attached to this and I’m afraid that if I try to hatch this egg it might break the game. Should I soft reset?
Anyway, did something like that ever happen to anyone? I can’t find any info anywhere!
