Hi my name is Echo Brushes, nice to meet you. I'm currently living in a cottage away from civilization where I eat cream puffs all day and work out constantly... my drawing hand, that is. Reposting is fine as long as it's only on Magma
Status: watching Blue Lock and Mashle.
More info:
I like to draw a lot - traditional, digital. I do a lot of digital art, mostly of oc's sometimes of characters in anime or video games (like Ace Attorney). At times I draw Warrior Cats OC's too. You could call me an art nut, but if you have to I'd prefer art cashew. Salted and honeyed, please...
If you really scroll down in my gallery you'll see some joke drawings I made, and then added on funny comments. They're funny... so that's why I kept them there
For any of my work, please don't repost. Though... I don't know why you would...
Note: I didn't draw the profile picture: the profile pic is a Pokemon card :D
Looking for somewhere to start in my Gallery? Check out "the purple dragon flies in the blue mist". It's truly mesmerizing.
Sorry for yapping. If you read this whole thing, that's amazing...

I don’t think I’ll post very much anymore, lately I’ve really just wanted to work on some of my secret characters that I don’t want to post. A friend of mine wanted to do fanart but I realized half my characters weren’t more than black and white paper sketches. So I’ll probably post every once in a while :) i hope you have a good day
I was listening to ginger lemonade by good kid when I drew this. Unfortunately my color palette did not include yellow for the ginger lemonade. Oh well it’s nothing that we can’t change…
Listen to it, it’s an amazing song.
I got to 300 likes!! :D And 30 followers so I have 10 likes per follower, isn’t that nice … I’m glad it wasn’t some weird fraction like 5.684637 likes per follower
CONGRATS!!! >:D
@Echo Brushes PERHAPS.... PERHAPS....
Its only been a month since i drew this but my drawing got all dusty!!! What do i do?!
@idiot maybe i should do one of those if i figure out how to do art jams
wait thats a good idea
I picked out some random colors and tried to draw three girls using them! Each girl looks like a different person drew them ;-; ... I'm bad at the right-facing head angle. I didn't spend too much time on these, they were just some quick sketches that I colored, which is why you can see all my guidelines underneath the coloring. I hope they turned out well :)
Hi how's it going? :) I have two drawings that I kinda wanna make, one is Frieren in the episode of the Aura battle and the other is Serena from Pokemon XYZ in that episode where she throws snow at Ash. Which should I draw first? I'm leaning toward Frieren right now ...
i wanna see aura TvT idk
FRIERENNNNNNNNNNNN
I did it guys. Somehow someway I drew a TREE (thanks to mallows art tricks on youtube). I think this is my first successful drawing of a whole tree :D ... I did make an illustration with trees after this but I'm not going to post it so here's the OG tree for you!
(This is actually the SECOND tree I tried to draw... the first was really bad :D )
treeeeeee :D
what a nice tree, i love tree
I was watching Pokemon XY and saw a Floette and was like “that would look so cool as a human!” So I immediately started drawing floette as a human. This took ridiculously long lol
btw i might not post super often anymore :D
Also btw i tried to put two watermarks and ended up putting 200… apologies
Final btw, if u like pokemon, whats ur fav pokemon? Mine is mimikyu :)
So beautiful!! :D
yooooo
Hey so I was drawing on an iPad just now and noticed that the blend tool isn't working properly... it's acting more like the paint brush tool than the blend one i.e. it's not actually BLENDING, more like painting on my canvas. Does anybody know how to fix this???
OMGG WHEN I HAD MAGMA ON MY IPAD IT DID THIS CRAP TOOOOOOO
sadly that acount is dead, I can't get back in 🫥
I hope you are able to fix this twin cus I just accepted my fate idk why it does that :/
@s0da @Willow Starfall Thank you for your help... unfortunately changing the brush settings doesn't seem to work?? Idk my ipad is being super weird. I blended the shadows on a different device and it worked perfectly?? But on my ipad it showed like I was just painting over it? Idk i guess its just a problem with my ipad... (essay over)
I’m going to draw some anime characters and post them in a combo of digital and traditional drawing. Who should I draw?? (Btw if I don’t know the character I prob won’t draw them)
I haven’t seen it, but she’s really cute! Maybe I’ll draw her, thank you :)
could you maybe draw nadeshiko from Laid X Back Camp? idk if you've heard of her, but I feel like her character could align with your style pretty well! ^^
I still need to do liliana's challenge which probably wont happen anytime soon bc magma is acting up... so here's willow's for that challenge. super cool. super epic. super amazing... if u dont get the reference of the album cover search "fauozia film noir" and listen to unethical. cool songs, cool artist.
fauozia is so good :D
Hellooo thank you guys for 100 likes, I am really amazed and never thought I would get that many, thank you (now 128)!!
also I might not post for a while bc magma won’t let me draw because of my ad blocker :( so…. see you later! :)
YAY!!! 100 is a big milestone (just wait for the next deluge)
OMG YESS CONGRATS TWIN!!!! YOU DESERVE ALL THISE AND SO MUCH MORE 🥹🥹🥹🥹🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰
The great and wonderful Liliana Stardust (@liliana_stardust ) gave me this color palette (and black and white), so I drew Hina Chono from Blue Box! I'm sure she would be proud, and maybe her ego would grow little larger... as if it isn't large enough already!
Well I didn't get a single bingo ;-; how sad.
Also koikai, great color palette!
Check out koikai's gallery. It's great
awww TYSM for remixing!!!! >:D [amazing doodles!!!!!]
I randomly started drawing a character based off a Caramel Reese's Peanut butter cup... but I don't like peanut butter so it's just a Caramel Cup character. She looks a little sugar-high!
Got any name suggestions? I don't have any name ideas that aren't literally "caramel" ;-;
P.S. I tried some slightly different rendering styles for each piece. Which is your favorite?
The colors and the poses are so pretty!! (also I'm hungry now)
her hair looks just like caramel!! I love the shading lines you used
I got so many bingos!
it's just an example
Well knife throwing is a skill people have ig
A little warrior cats meme I made. I know it's finals season right now and you all might be a little stressed, so hopefully this changed-up scene originally of Graystripe yelling at Fireheart about Silverstream will raise your spirits :)
I want to make it very clear that I DID NOT DRAW THIS, the original artists are Natalie Riess and Sara Goetter, and I just painted over and changed the text of a screenshot I took when reading. I read the "you-know-who" and was in a Harry Potter mood :D so made this
and why do the faces match surprisingly well
why does it still make sense like that
Filled out @moonlight-glimmer 's bingo sheet. I got four bingos! :D
ahhh ty :D
My new OC Camellia. I've drawn and posted her three times now! Though I added a ton of new details.
Okay that's probably my last post for a week or so... see you later
CUUUUUTE
I really like the flower motif and colors
I had a few minutes in between finals studying so I whipped up a quick sketch of a basic character and scribbled random colors on the side. Then I turned on grayscale mode and colored it in! I did NOT pick any of the colors I was expecting ;-; except that the blush is pink. It was fun!
Because she looks like an alien (or maybe a Martian?) I'll call her... Martia
a mix of scrump from lilo and stitch and sally from twas the night before christmas
@idiot really? What reminds you of it?
looks familiar
the magenta and the dark blue go really well together!
ok i researched what ginger looks like. so instead of ginger it could be orange/tan/brown, but if youre saying lemonade, lemonade contains lemon. so you take the "lemon" from "lemonade" so you have ginger and lemon together into a liquid form for consumption. what about the ade? does the ginger and lemon semi-liquid AID in becoming an orange/tan/brown-yellow? oh yeah i forgot to note, if ginger is orange/tan/brown (i think) and lemon is yellow, you mix it and it becomes yellow-brown/tan/orange. but you know how lemonade has the lemon slice that is implanted on the side of the drink? if this is "gingerlemon(aid)" then that means the lemon is replaced with ginger
i think.. ginger is.. orange, unless im colorblind
