Blue Orchids Beneath the Flame (My AU for demon slayer OwO)
In this AU, Kyojuro Rengoku is alive and is still serving as the Flame Hashira, but sadly Kanae Kocho meets her tragic fate to Douma (Uppermoon 2). Kaitri Kametiŕi is the Blue Orchid Hashira, she is a kind, gentle person with a caring personality. Ever since Kanae's death, it had an impact on Kaitri, making her act different and train harder to find the demon that killed her beloved mentor. Kaitri secretly has Kanae's other butterfly clip which she keeps in her haori, so it feels like Kanae is still with her. Kaitri has black hair fading into blue streaks, mismatched blue and black eyes, and glowing blue butterfly hairpins. Her outfit involves a (darkish) blue Haori decorated over her hashira uniform inspired by Mitsuri's (but less revealing) along with long dark blue socks patterned with lines going down on it. Her unique orchid-shaped Nichirin katana is decorated with tiny flower charms that sway whenever she moves. Growing up older without Kanae made Kaitri rely on other people, she grew closer to Shinobu and looks up to her, seeing her as a mother figure. Tengen and Gyomei are like father figures to Kaitri, always there for her. Kaitri had eventually saw Sanemi as a big brother, she calls him Nii-san or Onii-chan, he pretends he hates it but really he likes it and cares alot for Kaitri. And then there is Kyojuro Rengoku... Kaitri developed feelings for Rengoku, finding him strong, pretty, loud, and so cool.. she loves his energy and sometimes talks to him, just to see him. Kaitri must learn to carry the grief of losing Kanae without allowing it to consume her. A blue orchid may bloom quietly in the mist... But even the gentlest flower can stand beside a flame.
