Orange Soil!

Orange soil was found just below the surface of the Moon at Shorty crater. The orange soil is from lava plumes that produced orange glass droplets [1]. The small, sand-like, orange glass droplets were covered by the ordinary lunar regolith (soil) until astronauts uncovered it.

The astronauts of Apollo 17 were very surprised to see this. You can watch the astronauts shout with glee in this video:
