Lantern has been captured by 3 governments and escaped another 19 in the places it's been(in one version of its canon lore its a sort of world/dimension traveler, not by its will but it does sometimes enjoy it) It has yet to find a way out of the confines of the third

I've been obsessed with body horror lately idk why, especially parasite-ish stuff
ik it might look kinda inspired by one of the af teams but I've actually had this idea in my head for a while now
funy apathetic dude from The Fringe with a disease or smth so there's minerals growing all over him
he's actually very chill about having this, also considering this unrefined form is practically invulnerable to damage, which it can use as basically free op weapons/protection/defense, so he is also op with that lol, win win ig /hj
makes him kinda weak and sleeby but oh well the buffs^ are worth it /j
what's he's not so chill about is being contained and used as the source for these minerals, since they power the "neutrals"' machines(more specifically the ones that can bring people back from the dead as long as their corpse is still mostly intact), as the mineral, and it's disease in general, isn't contagious nor has it been able to be acquired from nature, or even grown artificially, for that matter.
kinda sad, but oh well at least one of his friends freed him from there- oh nevermind this person is extremely corrupt now and just wants to use him for their own malicious endeavors so he kills them and also the extremely dangerous person who they revived through bypassing the blacklist of the machines(it's fucking Arid sighh), and now he's on his way, no clue what he's gonna do now (shrug)
