so if you follow me i’ve stated before that I have something called trauma isolation, and i’m pretty sure not a lot of you know what that is. so let me explain :)

basically, whenever I am extremely stressed/spiraling, I have an alter (Mai) that takes over during that so I can calm myself down. this isn’t really DID/OSDD but more of a coping mechanism? it’s an action that only kicks in when i’m extremely stressed/angry or spiraling. when it happens it’s normally because I don’t have any other way to calm down because i’m outside or nothing is working.

i honestly think it’s just a coping mechanism that developed in my brain over the years, as i had no way to calm myself down and would commonly lash out. plus Mai only fronts when i’m extremely stressed/angry or spiraling and NEED to calm down or i will do something i regret. they tend to co-front when i’m pretty anxious or kind of upset and need to chill out a bit, but not stressed enough for them to fully front.

sometimes they do actions I don’t remember but might recognize what they did after I couple minutes. like not really remember it but know what it is idk ok ☹️ (for example: Mai blocking a friend that made me spiral but me not understanding why they’re blocked)
pretty sure that’s because my brain (or Mai i’m not sure) blocks out extremely traumatizing things

i feel like it should also be noted that Mai ONLY comes out when i’m extremely stressed/angry or spiraling. if they haven’t fronted in a while, it’s mainly because i’m happier/calmer currently :)

Everything that is classified as trauma that has happened to me is real. I haven’t lied about it at all. Michelle did abuse me, I did get manipulated by an ex-bff (Kayden) and I did find C.ai when I was 10. My dad hasn’t been the best to me either. Yet again, I apologize for lying about my age. I truly am sorry, and understand if none of you forgive me.

synopsis/summary:
6 friends who used to run the entomology club battle the mutant bugs that are hurting their town + the civilians !!

characters:
Rikeo Desmodeus is the leader/boss of the group and making sure that everyone is okay. She's always on the lookout if someones injured, sick, etc. She also works together with the co-leader / managing director Yuki to plan expeditions and other things !! [23, Scarletto (Horned Frogs)]

Yuki Madkins is the co-leader / managing director of the group and is also the mechanic. She designed the weapons they use that also transform into day to day objects !! She's also suffered with her mom not ever being a part of her life due to her dying when she was born, but tries every day to prove herself to everyone to be the person her mom would be proud of. Misaki Artischoce is a street artist who also helps with training. She normally does spray paint artwork/paints murals on walls of buildings (she's commissioned to do so). They're also really good with figuring out puzzles !! Misaki sometimes also lets people vent/rant to her and try to make them feel better,, and she's also Yuki's childhood best friend! Araion Emberrs documents all the info about the bugs and creates sketches of them. He also works as a model for his fathers company. He's really good at figuring out the weak spots of a mutant bug when they're fighting one and also LOVESS reading and writing and also cooking ,, [24, Pythian (Snake)]

Micheal-Kai Asahina (MK) sketches and creates all of the uniforms that they use for fighting, and he's a fashion designer! He's also VERY good with a bow and arrow (and measurements),, he loves to style his friends and make them clothes :> [23, Kenti (Rabbit)]

Malaria Fontaine helps Rikeo calculate money for taxes/the total amount of money on items they have to buy and buys the resourses they need. She grew up rich, and is also MK's childhood best friend !! [23, Skorpia (Scorpion)]

oc trivia/extra facts:

- Misaki smokes on the roof near the end of work/at the end of work, that's normally when people talk to her (the cigarettes she smokes are manos cigarettes, they're perfectly healthy and made with healthy herbs that don't harm ppl and are for stress relief!! she also only smokes when shes stressed)

- MK was bullied for his looks as a kid due to him looking "too feminine" since a lot of his features come from his mother.

- Araion hates his modeling job and often tries to relieve stress with alchohol (which doesnt work too well, he gets anxious + emotional when he's drunk)

- Misaki sees Yuki as a younger sister, and worries about seeming weak to her in some situations.
- Malaria sees MK as a brother. Malaria also has a older brother named Ace.

- Everyone normally wears their fighting uniforms under their regular clothing when they get to work, (or transforms into them i guess? idk) since sometimes they'll have to fight mutant bugs that appear unexpectedly. Rikeo also plans expeditions to kill mutant bugs that are in caves and forests.
