Likewise is another one of our most active artists on the platform, hosting big Art Jams through their Sweatshop Artspace: a community focused on improving creative skill through regular challenges.

There are thee new brush packs available. Find them highlighted in your brush panel or over on Likewise's profile page.

Likewise Duality (400 Mags)

This is the core drawing tool set with inking and rendering brushes. Be sure to try the Dry Thumb as a blend tool with with paint setting enabled.

Likewise KiraKira (200 Mags)

This set of six stamp brushes is focused effects that will add a little extra flair to your artworks with things like bubbles, stars, and…well, flares.

Likewise Poorman’s (FREE)

This free brushpack from Likewise contains eight brushes for adding texture to your pieces. From fog and noise, to dust, dirt, and foliage, this pack is sure to bring some more character to the scene.

WE'VE EXTENDED THE CONTEST!

We had some trouble with our announcement email getting out, so we've added an extra week onto the contest duration. This gives those who missed it an extra chance to register and participate, and gives everyone just a little bit more time to do some awesome things with their community.

Kicking off the month with another big update for Magma and Art Jams. We’ve revamped the flow of creating new Jams and even added scheduled events!

Recently, we switched to a randomized order of live Art Jams to help new and smaller Jams to get seen. We saw some great results with that but also noted your requests for being able to sort by the most popular again and also be able to search.

Well now you can!

We've added different sorting options and a search bar to the Live Jams section. You can search based on the title of the Jam and the host's name.
Go test it out!

Welcome to another Magma contest. This time it’s a little different. Rather than only making an awesome artwork, we want to see you build a vibrant community.

Want to keep your chat channels clean? Try out the new automatic moderation feature available for Artspace channels and Art Jam chat.

We think this will be a great feature for live streamers, event hosts, and large communities.

You can choose to either hide offensive words or swearing as well. This setting is not enabled by default. You can decide which channels in your Artspace and which Art Jams you want it to be active for.
