the closed species debate is so annoying because like half of the ppl who are against closed species are just butthurt that they can't have something someone else does. These people think they are entitled to artists work and get fussy when an artist tells them no. While there are issues that SOME closed species have like relying on FOMO for profit and whatnot people only use that as an excuse to (lets face it) steal the artists work. And the worst part is that there are SO MANY open species that are SO COOL but people only focus on closed species bc its something they can't have. And another thing, people drum up closed species owners being toxic WAY too much. There are very few times that I've seen the closed species comunity go after "copy cats" and in contrast closed species artists get harassed and have their work stolen ALL OF THE TIME. If closed species bother people so bad i dont understand why people dont just make their own open species? The world needs more art and I don't see a point in whining about things you can't change when you have the means to make your own happiness.
