I'm so excited to have earned over 250 followers! Thank you!
A random hodgepodge of draconian statues and the like. Extremely scratchy as it's quite a departure from my usual style. Whilst grouping them they looked all right at first but knowing where to stop with shading threw me off. Nevertheless, it resulted in something passable.
This scene was taken from the most bewitching postcard photograph I ever saw. I really like the atmosphere of it all.
@Potic-☀️ Thank you so much! It's an especial piece of mine.
REally GOOD!! yay!
Here's another grisly automotive-themed landscape doodle.
Thanks a lot, @pancakes2151!
Peak
With spooky season upon us, I figured it'd be best to drop this loose, eerie type of sketch.
Thanks, @willow-starfall-0t.
I love the feeling
I'm welcoming the start of the Autumnal Equinox with this leafy door; the colors and textures were so much fun!
I find it really funny whenever cats looks like they sport such features as moustaches or eyelashes. The colors and almost studio-type foreground appeal to me.
@zainabtheartist That's a unique way of putting it. Thanks.
Its... so... graphy hehe, BTW it's good.
The tree's literally carrying the whole of this canvas. Didn't quite know where this would go, it was kind of complicated. I've spent a lot of time coloring the piece until it grew on me.
@Potic-☀️ Thanks, so do I!
I LOVE the COLORS!!
The Toji Pagoda is a grand tower made better when seated above autumnal beauty. This has got to be some of my most atmospheric rendering yet.
A wonderful homage to a timeless painting that possesses gleaming splotches of detail.
beautiful
Apart from the mill's photo, I really got into the crunchy, rustic textures of this drawing.
@willow-starfall-0t Thank you, it's fun.
i love how you use textured brushes in your artwork
Statues and lanterns like these are so cool, as are the shrines they've gathered around. All the details and textures here fit together so well like a puzzle; I'm also in awe at the contrast.
WHATTTT HOLY TUFFF
@me-me-me-stuff Yes, I'll admit the arrangement of black and white is too much. Thank you, though!
@phreshprints of Cara had this striking image of an amazing OC that impressed me. I think this has a really cool comic book style.
Thanks, @Potic-☀️.
Woahh wait this is REally awesome!
Check out this cool iguana from Cybernaut!
Wow!
This is better than I expected. The foreground's varied and peaceful to look at while the truck's front is almost human.
Thanks, @bonus-mesh-2k5.
fire
I must say I'm impressed at the way these turned out for me; they're easily my best, most detailed sketches of vehicles, old or not!
Thank you, @q1nix.
I love the lines :3
Romi's multifarious crew put together a welcoming cat fair riddled with charm. It's truly got an imaginative spirit. Enjoy!
Soooo cool!!
I've decided to go with a rough, minimal approach this time. Miraculously, trees are a reliable source of framing for me.
Undoubtedly the all-time funkiest landscape sketch of mine. It was wild experimenting with monochromatic elements and textures in a contrasting manner.
Thanks @alkine_z!
WOAHHHH THIS IS SICKKK
I'm really pleased with how this kitty turned out; they look so silly and playful!
Thank you @moonlight-glimmers.
cute!! <3
I'd also like to present one of my funkiest landscapes yet. The foliage and angle were so intense to get right.
@alkine_z Me neither, but it's pretty cool. Thank you!
Idk how u manage to do this but its absolutely amazing
Perhaps the most empyrean reference discovered online resulted in this still life. All the rendering and details were undeniably painstaking for me, but it was worth it to craft something beautiful.
@alkine_z I am, since I poured my heart into every detail for authenticity. You've made valid points for developing one's style, especially with regard to line art. Reading this paragraph instilled more confidence in me. Thank you for your encouragement!
You should absolutely be proud of this, this is beautiful art!!!!! And yeah rendering does take a while but thats where most of us put our most effort into one piece to make it how we like. Its where our own styles begin to develop :) ik ur style (from what ive looked at) is based on line weight and line art which is a great step to move forward into rendering since you already know your values. You're gonna make stunning art one day, even better than this. Keep up the good work this is amazing.
@rin-2o1278748love Thank you.
cool
Thank you, @willow_tree. I'm glad to read this.
Your style is inspiring, I love the creativity
Congratulations!
