Theme for June’s Design Duel was wayward, so what better wayward oc did I have than Aixxey :)
(Same lore world as my March Design Duel entry)
LORE DROP:
In a world filled with lethal corruption…humans, humanoids, and demigods created center, purified cities used as safe havens for the weak and the valuable.
Around the center cities are smaller ones, known as ‘checkpoints’. These checkpoints act as more physically powerful communities inhabited by mainly humanoids (those who naturally have abilities that humans cannot possess)
In these checkpoints, they are protected by Purifiers, split into different factions. Purifiers are individuals who are trained to effectively protect people from corruption, most able to pure the corruption entirely. They are each gifted abilities from a dead god’s power to heighten their strength.
Aixxey is part of the Aquatic faction (they purify water, crucial) made up of six individuals and led by Vaireas (March DD oc). The main, patron god of the faction is Ilamu.
Aixxey is strangely gifted with a corruptor god’s power) which she chooses to attempt to control and use against Corruptors. Her blood contains burning poison that burns away corruption in water, while her immense strength (from said corrupt gift) and durability make her an incredibly difficult person to subdue.
However, every gift comes with a price, whether or not it’s pure or corrupt.
In her case, she requires flesh from intelligent beings to survive. With the control over her own body fading, she fears that one day she would kill her own faction to live.
alr enough yapping I ended up disliking the composition of this artwork but I need to post it
