alright, everyone's saying how Magma changed their lives etcetera etcetera, so now it's my turn! It was way back in ye olden days of 2024 when I really started to want to try digital art (mostly because my fyp was full of it), so I started searching for a good website/platform to use. I found Magma and thought it was really cool and OH MY GOD my art was dogshit at the start. But before then, I had been drawing with paint 3d and Magma was quite the improvement! Once I discovered art jams, something clicked. I mostly just created them and interacted with people because I really wasn't (and still really am not) confident in my art ability, but seeing people who are so talented casually just. Draw something just because they wanted to really changed my perception of art as a whole. Before then I don't know if I could really classify myself as an artist, but Magma gave me the means to completely shift my mindset when it comes to not only digital art, but also drawing as a whole. The art skills I earned from Magma aren't as important to me as the change in my mind. I now draw not because I want to be an artist, but because I want to make art. It's a subtle difference, but it really helped me. So thank you so so much Magma for completely changing the trajectory of my art path, and thank you to all of the incredible talented artists that inspired me in the first place you're incredible and awesome!!! (oh damn holy yap!)
