like a lot of the art I see here is very obviously traced, or even people taking art for online and just adding their own things on it.
all of this is still stealing art. I don’t care if your learning to draw. don’t steal art. if you wanna trace art to practice your art skills, that’s fine, but you can’t go posting it and claiming it as your own. people preach about “oh anti ai art” and they trace art. hate to break it to you but it’s not any better.

guys I’m in math right now and my classmate found this like long rubber thingy (idk what it was) on the floor and was hitting his fiend with it and my teacher got mad and asked him what it was and he said he didn’t know and I said “it looks like a dildo” and I DDINT KNOW HE COULD HEAR ME and he looked at me and was like “I’ve been teaching for a long time…..and I’ve had my awkward moments… and this qualifies as one. long pause and I also threw up in my mouth a little” I was DYING. I was laughing and trying not to be inappropriate bc like I obv have never used a fucking dildo b4 I just happen to know what they look like but like I dint want my MATH teacher to think I’m THAT kind of person iykwim…… guys I’m cooked for parent teacher conferences

heya so um before i start talking about her in this desc umm little desclaimer that suicide, drugs, and abuse is mentioned so read at your own risk!! also her lore is sorta twisted (this is the kind of oc that has too much unessacary traumatic lore)
okay you have been warned
so this is my new oc jordan, who um- killed herself. but theres lore behind that so here i go
jordan was raised extremly catholic (shes from spain btw) and her parents both died in a forest fire while camping when jordan was 8 years old. her parents were really nice and she really loved them. when her parents passed, she ended up living with her grandparents, which were super abusive, and they sent her to an all girls catholic school. this is where jordan realized she was bisexual. there was this girl (amy) that jordan started to date in the 8th grade. they dated till the 10th grade, when amys parents found them out, then told jordans grandparents. amy was so devasted that she killed herself and wrote her suicide letter specificlly to jordan, and it was a heart wrenching goodbye love letter. this tore jordans heart apart. her grandpa soon died after from heart faliure, and jordans grandma did not want to keep jordan, so she kicked her out. jordan ended up renting a really cheap apartment, and quit highschool. one night she went out to a bar and got all dressed up, thinking it might get her mind off of things. she met some girls in the ladies room doing dr^gs and jordan joined in. she felt so horrible afterwards, all her horrible memorys of amy and her death came to jordan, and she killed herself in the bathroom of the bar. she was 17.
this is why in the drawing she depicted as an angel, cuz she just died, and just "got her wings"

i used the lasso tool alot on this and im starting to get more comfortable using it :)

I agree with you on this, like I only want to use poses that are MENT to be traced and I try making sure that I don't copy the whole style because I just really want to make fun art
yes, and another thing to add on is that they must always ask the artist of the artwork they're gonna take to practice skills on for permission, or at least I think that's what they should do, just in case.
