about
I draw. I paint. I talk to my coffee, and I dream of Micromachines dioramas.
Quality Assurance and Artist Advocate at @Magma .
My main job is to make sure that features are well tested before rolling out to you! I also hunt down the various bugs that our users report, and write many of the various tool guides you'll find in our Help Centre.
You might spot me in art jams with you from time to time, making sure that everything is working smoothly or drawing along with you.
A bit about me...
- I studied Fine Art Printmaking;
- I own an absurd number of drawing tablets;
- I review those tablets on my YouTube channel: EyekooDrawsStuff;
- I enjoy drawing fantasy portraits and quirky animals;
- I love Star Wars;
- I yawn like a Wookiee;
- Definitelly a coffee addict;
- In a very healthy complicated relationship with my sketchbook.
The tools I use...
My job has me using a lot of different devices all the time, but my main tools for drawing and painting are:
Wacom Movink
Compact, light, and supports touch - great to travel with
Tourbox Elite
For having all my useful shortcuts available
iPad Pro 12.9 (6th Gen) with Apple Pencil 2
For on-the-go drawing and using as an additional monitor or drawing tablet with my laptop
8Bitdo Micro
Compact option for getting all my Magma keyboard shortcuts on iPad
Be sure to follow the official @Magma profile.

Hades-inspired self
Inspired by perhaps one of my favourite video games: Hades.
I did the sketch for this in Magma first during a hangout with a few friends. Then I carried it over to Procreate to colour for a video about the accessories that make the iPad the only drawing tablet that I really need as someone who has been traveling a fair amount over the last few years. One of those things mentioned is actually he controller from my last post.
You can see what other things were mentioned here
@Ryan | Magma , can you do a Gundam fan art,please?
I'm loving this. I don't play Hades but I've always loved the artstyle and character design language from those games
'Cause I want to see a Gundam in Magma. So, please?
Are you expert on mechanical designs?
@Nami VX I really like Poseidon. He always gives me a chuckle with his boistrous nature
This is so silly (in a good way!)
I'm a sucker for roguelike games and Hades has been one of my addictions aha,,, Finished Hades 1 last year and recently beat Hades 2 in like two weeks. Do you have any favorite characters? Personally I like Achilles in Hades 1 because in a way, he felt like a nice uncle or father figure to Zagreus.
@illu-art I haven't tried a Surface yet. I stuck more or less with what I was familiar with when I had to replace my laptop a couple of years ago and went with a decently strong ASUS ROG Strix. It's a bit heavy, and batter life is limited, but handles the simultaneous graphics-heavy multitasking quite well. I do fanaticize about lighter, more streamlined setups though xD
@RenLovesFire I have, but only during early access. It's AWESOME! Haven't gotten stuck into full v1 release yet though. My laptop screen needs repairing before I can properly enjoy it.
Looks Great! Seriously have you tried Surface? I got it, and its a perfect hybrid to travel with!
Ooooooo!! I LOVE HADES!! Have you played Hades II yet? It’s really good!
awwwww
