I really liked the sketch of this one. I felt like it just looked very nice and put together. You can’t see it because this is a magma post but when I made it in IBIS paint, I am able to shift the eyes around as a separate unit. I originally was going to use this as a base that had simple shapes and didn’t have any color or hair or pose or facial expression. However, I really wanted to see where I could take this and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do

I’ve been trying to use different brushes and techniques to see if I can make my art lines better. Do y’all like it or do you like how I used to do my old lines where they were more solid than sketchy

I’ve had this character since 2023. I never gave her an official name just kept recreating her every year, so now she has an official name. I made a character sheet for her and hope you guys really like her. This is something that I spent two hours on (the most I ever have spent on a drawing) and I think it was really worth it. just because you don't go out your comfort zone, it doesn't mean you're a bad artist
it's perfectly fine to not want to go out of your comfort zone
but to improve in art[I mean to draw more complex stuff] you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone every now and then
and if you feel like something is too much for you to handle, it's perfectly alright to revert back to your comfort zone, art is something that most folks do for fun, it's alright if you just want to keep it that way
