Sol is always on high alert, he has learned his lesson not to let his guard down. He probably does not get the sleep he should, but with what dwells in the darkness, its the only way to keep himself and others safe.
All in the eyes
When designing Sol i wanted him to have an intense stare, a lot of a character is their eyes. He is a very direct fella so I wanted him to have a direct striking stare.
