Hello, my name is Squish Mellow, and I am a passionate Christian artist with years of experience. I have been exploring various forms of art for quite some time, and I began my journey into digital art a few years ago. While I am continuously honing my skills, I enjoy drawing a diverse range of subjects. Additionally, you may notice that I have a particular fascination with drawing eyes, which has become a unique aspect of my work. My art banner showcases a collection of my artwork created on Magma. You may also see me add new artworks to my banner from time to time.

Thank you so much, Kev and Morro, you guys are awesome!
I enjoy listening to calm, peaceful melodies. While some may find this unexciting, I find it helps me relax and focus while working.

I am a deep Christian and have a deep love for God, and I feel comfortable sharing my faith. I encourage everyone to treat each other with kindness and respect. Here, I will post Bible verses and artwork that reflect my beliefs.
I understand that you may not be inclined to hear my perspective, but I encourage you, my friend, to consider exploring the Bible. While I respect that your beliefs are a personal matter, I can confidently say that engaging with their teachings has the potential to inspire meaningful and transformative change in your life. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and I fully understand that it is your life and choice.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for taking the time to read my biography. Your consideration is truly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Hello everyone,
I don’t really know how to say this without feeling a bit sad, but I am officially leaving Magma. This is my last week here. As many of you know, I recently took a break, but after much thought, I’ve decided to step away completely. Life has become very busy for me, and I’m unable to give Magma the time and energy it deserves.
I wish I could have contributed more and shared more of my art with you all. Maybe one day I’ll return, but for now, my account will be inactive.
I’ve met so many wonderful people here, and I’m grateful for the kindness and support you have shown me during my time on Magma. Thank you all, and thank you to the Magma team for making this experience so special.
Wishing you all the best, and I hope our paths cross again in the future.
Take care and God bless.

Hello everyone, as I mentioned previously, I said I would post some artworks, well, in this case, sketches. I just sketched out some hands and a lot of eyes. The eyes were especially fun to sketch.
I'm not sure if you guys like seeing my sketches, but I thought I'd share them anyway. Like always, I use the beloved Egg brush if anyone is still curious.
P.S. Thank you so much, everyone, for the amazing comments you guys give on my comment sections. I treasure each and every one of them. God bless.
Awesome work
can't remember the last time we talked huh squish?
Thank you so much!
Hello, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to let you all know that I will be stepping away for an extended break. At this time, I am unsure exactly how long I will be away, but I felt it was important to say this in advance. While I may share some drawings from time to time, my overall activity will be limited during this period. I appreciate your understanding and support. Wishing you all an early Happy Valentine’s Day. May you enjoy meaningful moments with those who matter most. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to reconnecting in the future. Take care and God bless.

Oh mY gOoDnEsS it seems you’ve been turned into a mass marketable plushie—
I woke up from a nightmare this morning but then as I sat there drinking almost an entire ocean of the tears of those who wronged me, all I could think was “I should draw @Squish Mellow as a squish mellow.” Voilà
Edit: SQUISH IT SEEMS YOU’VE BEEN DEEMED TO BE “EGG”—

Bruhhhhhhhhh. How?! It looks like a photo!
Here is a piece of writing I have created. God bless you guys.
There comes a time when the soul learns to accept the shape of its journey, gently, quietly, with a heart open to what is given and what is withheld. In quiet moments, I discover peace not by longing for what is lost, but by appreciating what remains: the warmth of morning light, laughter echoing in the halls, the comfort of a prayer whispered in solitude. Each new day is a gift, a gentle invitation to slow down, to savor the soft passage of time, to find meaning in ordinary miracles.
Thank you, Lord, for the days that dawn anew. I am humbled by the knowledge that in the unfolding of my destiny, Your life-giving Word sustains me. My gratitude blossoms for simple pleasures and silent moments of peace, for every breath, every sunrise, every gentle reassurance that I am never alone.
Regrets soften their grip as trust grows. I believe every joy and every sorrow is mysteriously woven by the loving hand of God. The hurried pace of youth gives way to a gentler rhythm; years gone by cannot be returned, but their lessons linger, urging me to walk forward with humility and courage. Though dreams may change or fade, new inspiration quietly rises, rooted in hope and faith.
Some days are shadowed by sorrow, and suffering finds its way in, yet pain refines the spirit, teaching resilience and compassion. Even as I wander through valleys of uncertainty, I sense a guiding presence, a Word that leads me through weeping and suffering, offering eternal hope even in times of wandering. My happiness is hidden in God; my dreams and inspiration are nourished by His love.
With a grateful heart, I accept all that is sent by God, determined never to lose heart on this winding journey of life. I rejoice in each day, cherishing its beauty and fleeting nature, trusting that grace accompanies every step, both sure and uncertain.
Thank you, Lord, for every new beginning, for every lesson carried by time, and for the promise that I am always held in Your love always.
omG that was so beautiful & poetic, i needed that T^T thx squish

Happy New Year, everyone! I want to thank each of you for your support throughout my Magma journey. Your kindness and care have meant so much to me. I have made wonderful friends here, and I am truly grateful. I look forward to what God has in store for us this new year. May the Lord bless you all!
Happy New Year
happy new year!!!!
On this earth, we are no strangers to pain; each of us walks through seasons of sorrow, struggle, and uncertainty. Our hearts bear wounds the world cannot see, and there are days when the weight of our battles feels overwhelming. Yet, in the midst of darkness, we discover a strength not our own. God meets us in our brokenness, turns our tears into prayers, and breathes hope into weary souls. Through every trial, our faith is refined, and we rise, not because the journey is easy, but because we are never alone. These hardships become the very places where grace takes root and where courage is born anew.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." — Isaiah 40:31
P.S. So...this piece took about 3 months to complete (mainly because of procrastination and being busy with life). I used the Streaky brush for the whole piece on the smallest size (that was a pain, I blame myself for that). Anyway, while this piece gave me the most pain, I am really happy with the result. I hope you like it, and God bless.
Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas! Over the past three days, I spent some time working on a portrait. It was a bit challenging, but I really enjoyed making it. It’s not perfect, but I learned a lot from the process. I hope you like it. God bless.
Thank you everyone!
HOW HOW THIS IS SO GOOD HOW
Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you and your family have a wonderful day full of joy. As we remember the birth of Jesus, may God bless every one of you with peace and happiness.
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." - Luke 2:11
Wishing everyone a blessed and joyful Christmas!
AMen! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well, squish. God bless you and your family.

Hey guys! Please give me suggestions on what birds you want me to draw! I may not pick every suggestion, but I will try to do most I can. Thank you very much!
(By the way, all of the birds on the canvas are all that I drew in the past; these are examples of what my art for birds looks like)
@Pear Bear in a Chair Yes! It's a Baltimore Oriole. I'm glad you like my work! I'm a huge fan of yours!
Is that a Baltimore Oriole in the center? :D
Your art is so good!
they look so real!!
Thank you guys for the help! I put all of the suggestions into a list. I will try to do as much as I can. Again, thank you so much!
you are amazing fr
BORB BIRB BORB BIRB 🥹🫶
A parrot? Specifically a conure, or maybe an Harpy Eagle? One has cool color composition while the other has cool anatomy. Or even a Secretary Bird?
Oh wow! That's a lot of suggestions! Thank you guys!
YES LIKE SORROW SAID, I LOVE OWLS HHHEHEHEHEHEH
My suggestion would be to move to a different category of birds for a couple drawings. It seems like you do a lot of songbirds and such, so maybe move to birds of prey for a bit? Also, Owls! I adore owls! so I would love some art of them.
AAWW SOO CUUTE!!!! Also, how about a blue jay?
Someday when you'll be bored you should definitely try drawing a Bearded Vulture, why them? Cause i love them a lot and i don't see many people talk about them much.
hrmmm I'll give you a challenge since I see tiny birds.. maybe an eagle? or a crane your birds are so pretty!!
ik they're not very pretty, but they do fit the month we're in; have you ever drawn a crow? i'd like to see what that would look like in ur style
OMG SO PRETTY
Pin-Tailed Whydah!
Mourning doves are beautiful ^^
Oo, I feel like a hummingbird could look nice in your style :o
Do some exotic ones
Maybe a blue jay!! ^^
:) thanks
SQUISH WE MISS YOU YOUR AMAZING!!!
