AU where Star couldn't bring herself to kill Sun-

a LOT of things changed because of that, but as for Sun here he kept being the ruler for 83 years after he was almost killed.
Eventually the world creator abandoned their world, since it hadn't gotten the drama he wanted. Sun wasn't without that trauma though, especially with his sister being put to death herself by the people. Sun formed a new government for Ahteive that let them choose their own leaders, and finally was free of the responsibility weighing him down so much. He and his siblings layed low for a bit (begrudgingly, for his siblings) before eventually Storm, Blossom, and Fire spread out around the continent to do their own thing.
Searching for happiness and a purpose, Sun later started adopting kids and trying to give them a good childhood. Currently, he has been the dad to Everly Grace Ray, who is now in her twenties. Generally Sun uses the form of a fishtail and a last name so his daughter can have a normal, happy life.

So me and my friend are working on our most ambitious project yet... we're in early stages and are working on environment so it's more work on my end at the moment. I've been tired lately so he has offered to help with some sprites even though he has trouble with drawing. I gave him instructions, a tree I had already done and said he could make a stump since that was simple with no animation.
I'm putting the finished image into my copy of the games files when my sister comes over and says "Ew. Did [insert friend's name] draw that?"
Of all the kind of rude things she has said while I'm working, I WAS SO RELEIVED THAT WE WEREN'T ON A CALL THEN- There wasn't even anything wrong with it, it just was simple
I am not working on this like it's my full time job I appreciate the help, and you couldn't do any better girl

I actually made Tommy look like an adult woah- I feel like a big problem with my artstyle for anthros is their age always looks a bit ambiguous. I use wrinkles now for facial expressions except in kids which helps a bit.
Also if anybody other than Zero is wondering why I didn't draw a left arm, the short answer is it's because she got it chopped off by an axe. She has a prosthetic because for plot convenience her nerve endings are somehow still intact. She just takes it off to sleep :]

idk I was just fooling around, this was 10 minutes and then 5 more minutes for tweaking since I wasn't done enough

I did this in about 15 minutes, I'm trying to practice speeding up my process so that I can actually get bigger pieces done.

Of course I would also get more things done if I didn't have 55.9 hours in the game already
