sorry it's been a while!
school has been keeping me busy.
anyways, i drew this the other day on an ipad,
then had to wrangle it onto here.
(it turns out i'm not good with technology!)
I really like how this turned out!
I'm thinking of naming her Mesquite, but idk!

I think this is supposed to be a ghost from one of the NightWing ghost stories or something.

this was fun to do! (my hand hurts from using the mouse so much, tho.)
originally, there was a ghost dragon thing in the drawing, but I didn't like it, so I moved it to a different canvas.

wow, sorry I haven't been on here much. I've been busy with state testing and finals are coming up, so... yeah. but it's almost SUMMER!!!!!!! YAY!

this bio ended up being so long!!! also p.s, there are some hybrid prince spoilers in it, so be warned. I REALLY like how this turned out! I think I'm getting better :)

(lotus was hatched before the whole BeetleWing-LeafWing thing, around the time hibiscus became queen.)

ever since she turned three years old and took her first venom test, lotus has been shunned by the other RainWings. that was the day she discovered that she couldn't shoot a deadly venom from her fangs like everyone else could. from then on, she was assigned hunting duties, a cruel job to give a dragonet without venom. despite this, lotus vowed to become the best in her tribe at hunting, so she fashioned herself a bow and mastered poisons to make up for the venom she was missing.

after years of practice, lotus was finally one of the best RainWing hunters, and the first to use a bow. everything was finally going well for her. the one thing she had to worry about was the seemingly random appearance of the SkyWing queen’s sister. lotus had no idea why summit had come to the rainforest, only to leave days later and leave a young skywing to stay in the palace. she was determined to find out, and decided the best way to do so would be to get to know the skywing that Summit had ordered to stay.

eventually, lotus succeeded in meeting the skywing, who turned out to be named Nimbus. Nimbus claimed he knew nothing about what Summit and hibiscus may have been doing, but that it couldn't be anything good. the two tried snooping around the palace to see what they could find, until they stumbled on an assassination plot for the skywing queen, and a plan to frame two innocent tribes for more land. lotus and Nimbus tried to figure out what to do, but they knew they were too late.

still, they tried to at least warn the two queens who would take the fall. when they got to the leafwing kingdom, however, they found that the beetlewings and leafwings were being rounded up by skywing soldiers. lotus decided that the best thing they could do to help would be to try and release as many dragons as they could, and hope they could get to safety. with the help of the dragons that had not been captured yet, they got to work. not everyone was freed, but they got plenty of dragons out without getting caught. lotus knew none of them could remain on pyrrhia, so they set off towards the ocean, planning to fly until they made it to a place to stay.

I was bored.

this took a really long time!
I tried to do lighting on him instead of shading, and I like how it turned out!
also, Snakeroot is from the hybrid prince. soooooo yeah.

I kinda like it tho. :)

I need to Practice backgrounds more. :)
I know it looks nothing like clouds, and it's really bad, but I'm going to keep practicing.
