The biggest update to Artspaces takes chatting from the canvas into dedicated chat channels in your space.
Now you don't have to open up a canvas to talk together but can have an ongoing thread in the Artspace to discuss random topics or plan your next hangout.
We recommend having more than one chat channel to cover different purposes or topics. For example:
- one channel for general chat
- one channel for sharing work-in-progress images to get feedback
- another for making announcements. You can use @ to mention everyone or specific roles.
Soon, we’ll be adding voice channels to Artspaces too! With webcam and screensharing, you'll be able to host panel discussions, art lessons, and other kinds of events with your community.

hello magma, this isnt really related but im sure you know -or maybe its just me that has this - sometimes in comment sections random comments get.. repeated? usually only once but for example, 2 people commented on a recent post of mine, and i was looking at it now.. it looks like the comments have been typed out twice by the same people.. will this be fixed? thank you!
