Hey so i recently just read this and I really do understand what it feels like to go through something like this. and although you find magma as the only place to vent, it really raises my eyebrow when you say it makes you feel horrible when people worry for you.

You aren’t an attention seeker, you are struggling. But mentioning how people getting worried makes you feel even worse, its concerning because how else should people react?

You are making a public post in which many people read, they see you are struggling and it’s a natural function for a person to either feel empathetic or sad in response. Genuinely, I know you want to get help but if people caring for you only makes you feel worse? It’s best to stop posting online publicly.

There are ways you can put your thoughts down without physical harm, diaries, art, journals, crafts. Whether or not you are going through something, I can guarantee that social media wont help anything other then give you a temporary release. I’m speaking from experience, but I don’t want you to keep beating yourself down because you cannot control peoples actions. People support you, regardless whether you like it or not, but at the same time you need to understand that it’s causing more harm to feel worse about yourself because people CARE about you. Also, not everyone will give you pity, there will be some who will disrespect you, but that’s what you ignore. Just please, if its doing more harm I advise you find other mechanisms that wont deflect on your emotional state ttWith that, unfortunately on the internet, venting can be harmful to people who aren’t emotionally available and then they feel that emotional weight onto them, at the same time, people will want to comfort you because they see someone in need. I get that you don’t know how to take comfort, i didn’t either a few years ago, but its just a slow process that you’ll have to get thru and it wont feel the most comfortable. I wish i could dm u but unfortunately you got them disabled, but please, im willing to help and I want to. Mental health is a battle that even I haven’t overcome and it takes weeks,months, even years but it doesn’t mean you’re stuck. Emotions are a hard subject but please take care of yourself. If you aren’t looking for attention(as in comfort), then please write your thoughts privately. It’s better for both parties because you could be unintentionally harming someone—not that u are—but there are times where it will happen. But its ok.
