I LOVE the new toon! His ability is overall perfect for solos and there's no bookshelves on only a few maps which makes his cooldown no problem! I almost cried when I saw his design for sum reason because it was so adorable I think I got him about a hour or two into the upd and got his mastery the next day (Yes holy unemployed)

I dont wanna wait till I actually draw this digital cuz I prob wont

Part 2 of chapter 1 of MAM
The Gate had a small history, barely spoken of but everyone is so afraid of beyond it. Eve leaned on the gate looking at the lush berries behind it.

Eve sighed and was about to turn around when she heard a crack in the bushes. She slowly turned back around squinting her eyes at the bush that rustled a bit more. A grey muzzle poked out from the bush and light blazing hazel eyes eyed her.

A wolf? Here? The wolf seemed a bit big, especially for the location. Eve thought no wolves lived in Ashcroft though.

The wolf stood still for a moment giving her a look like it could read her mind if he stared then backed away disappearing behind the bushes.

“That was weird.” She shrugged and headed back assuming Vaeh was back with the baskets which she was just on time Veah was just heading to the tree across the field. Took her long enough. She grumbled in her head.

“Sorry I took so long!” Vaeh stopped, catching her breath from running across the field. “Got the baskets though.”

“C,mon I got something to show ya.” Eve beckoned Vaeh and smirked.

They were going to cross the gate. And using berries as the excuse they could most likely get away with it. That's if they get caught, Eve was good at being sneaky.

“No” Vaeh eyed the gate with disgust like it ate kids when they got there.

“Come on, why? You scared or somethin” Eve teased hoping it would convince her even though she knew she can’t convince Vaeh of all people.

“I'm gonna get in trouble and I can’t climb.” Vaeh said. “But if you want to go ahead.”

“Fine! I’ll have fun all by myself.” Eve turned away towards the gate.

“No Eve you're not going either!” Vaeh grabbed her arm. “Don’t be so reckless it's not like you.”

Eve ignored her. And handed her the baskets. “You take these back and if anyone asks I'm in the room asleep. Don’t let them check.”

“Eve.” Vaeh tried once more. “You know what has happened to kids who crossed the gates.”

“No we don't. All I heard was they didn't come back, they probably ran away.” Eve brushed the scary stories off her shoulder.
They obviously were fake. To keep children from the thought of running away. That's all.

“Fine. But I warned you.” Vaeh gave a sad sigh she also knew she couldn't convince Eve just like Eve couldn't convince her. “Please just be careful it's getting dark.” Then Vaeh walked away. No berries. Empty baskets. Her long brown hair flowed in the cold wind as it blew by.

The Gate
-Chapter 1-

Eve jumped out of her sleep, her heart beating fast and the warm sun spilling out of the curtains happily unlike Eve at the moment.

She had another nightmare about the werewolves again. She realized she had woken up late again and most likely missed breakfast.

But Eve wasn’t in the mood for normal food. Her throat burned and she felt her teeth sharper than ever.

Has it been weeks since she last drank blood?

As soon as she sat up yawning her friend burst into the room. “Oh you're awake I was gonna wake you up but you’ll never guess what happened!” Vaeh closed the door behind her and sat on the bed across from her.

“There is finally someone new coming! And it isn’t a parent or new person just checking in. They are staying and-and-and.”

“Heaven! Calm down girl.” Eve grabbed her shoulders and so did Vaeh, she shook her.

“But Eveee. Let me be excited!”
“Do you not remember the last time we got excited about some new kid and he ended up hating us?” Eve pushed Vaeh’s hands off of her shoulders.

Vaeh nodded her head sadly. “But I still think this time will be better.” She teased, smiling, running away.

Eve followed behind walking.
“Oh yeah Eve I saved you some breakfast.”

“Girl why aint you wake me?” Eve sighed loudly, pushing Vaeh softly.

“Cuz you were sleeping!” Vaeh laughed. “Plus start waking yourself up lazy”

“Ugh you should have my back you meany!” Eve followed her down the stairs and ate the breakfast Vaeh had saved for her and they headed out to the field.

“Should we get berries today? I miss doing that” Vaeh said, brushing her hand against the tree as they walked through the forest that was behind the orphanage.

From what Eve knew the woods around here stretched for miles and there was a town about a twenty minute drive away. It wasn't the best place to put an orphanage in the middle of nowhere but then again there were two houses across the street from them that were abandoned.

Sometimes she wanted to explore them with Vaeh if she didn’t get scared.

“Berries it is today then but I'm not getting the baskets this time.”

“Fineeee you're being soo lazyyy!” Vaeh started walking towards the orphanage leaving Eve alone.

Vaeh was taking too long so Eve wandered off examining trees and different bushes until she hit The Gate.
