A hand, a spike, a physical fight
A flash of light, a curtain
A toll, a tithe, the passage of time
A height, a dive, a burden
A girl, a night, a typical type
A siren in the water
A scroll, a nod, a message from God
A son, a Holy Father
The hand, the pen, the writing again
The wind around the willow
The felt, the ice, the passage of time
The melting down the window
The now, the then, the thinking of "when"
The bottle in the ocean
The strike, the pause
The message from God forbid she shows emotion
A hand, a spike, a physical fight
The wind around the willow
A toll, a tithe, the passage of time
The melting down the window
The now, the then, the thinking of "when"
The siren in the water
A strike, a pause, a message from God
Does that make me His daughter?
A hand, a shove, a valley, a jump
A score under the wire
Just sweep me up, just sweep me up
And take me somewhere higher

i drink water until i am drowning,
i can breathe just fine, i promise, of course i can breathe just fine, can't you?
i clutch my head, unable to stop the pounding,
oh, its nothing, just a little headache, im sure it'll go away with some water and ibuprofen!
i rest my head on the cold tile, watching the red carpet grow,
oh, sorry for making such a mess, this is all my fault, i'll clean it up right away so dont trouble yourself, alright?
i pull the blankets tighter as if trying to shield myself from the harsh light of dawn highlighting every flaw, every insecurity, every mistake,
ah, no i'm okay, just a little sleepier than usual, must have stayed up late again without realizing, haha, of course i'm not depressed, everything is fine isn't it?
Euphoria- by me :3
"Sweet boy," my lover says, placing a hand on my cheek. "you're such a silly boy."
boy boy boy boy boy boy boyboyboyboyboyboyBOYBOYBOYBOY
the word nestles under my skin- curling up next to my heart, setting warmth blooming there like sunlight after rain.
the word hums behind my eyelids- music, my quickening heartbeat the drumbeat and the rush of adrenaline as the song.
the word sings behind my lips- sweet and warm, like a familiar treat, easing the cold ache in my bones until I can breathe again.
"Silly boy," my lover says, taking me home at last. "You're such a sweet boy."
Dysphoria- by me :3
'Sweet girl,' my mother says, placing a hand on my cheek. 'You're such a sweet girl.'
girl girl girl girl girlgirlgirlgirlgirlGIRLGIRLGIRLGIRL
the word crawls under my skin and lodges there behind my ribs like a tumor- alien, painful, growing until it rearranges my organs and suffocates me.
the word buzzes behind my eyelids like mayflies over a sacrificed lamb- more and more, piling up louder and louder until I can't make out my own thoughts, much less my screams.
the word lodges in my throat like a stone- jagged and sharp, cutting my throat until the words to correct don't exist, until I choke with the weight of it.
'Sweet girl', my mother calls me as she places a hand on my throat and squeezes. 'You're such a sweet girl.'
