Irene is a librarian who happens to have dyslexia. She's inspired by Zulu culture since she is canonically indigenous African and tried to look into others too tho they were rlly hard to research and such tho i like how the language has a "click" noise into it :3
Her birth name is Sphesihle though she kinda was kidnapped when she was abt 4 yrs old and her whole village was raided by Oushizolain guards and spent the rest of her childhood and adolocences in a facility to be "purified". She ended up meeting another child who was kidnapped w psychic powers and founded interested and immediatly befriedned him despite being against the rules. They ended up escaping together but got seperated while running away from the guards chasing them but reunited years later

She is a sweetheart and feel bad for putting her through so much </3

I really gotta think of another name other than Jinx...

This is kinda what I imagine what my story would look like. The reason there's an eye is because my world is authoritarian and takes out the eyes of criminals and uses their eyes as cameras/street lights (scary but cool)
