I feel refining the overall color design more would have made it more impactful :(

monk
(Warrior monk)
Monk Guarding a Heretical Village.
The corpse of a former High Monk, resurrected through magic and a curse.
Sealed to prevent it from losing control, it serves as a relentless guardian of the village
He's already dead, so he probably doesn't have a favorite food.x)
I bought some raw fish

Priest
He speaks softly in human language and pretends to be holy by donning priestly robes in order to prey on believers.

Original Character
Priest
A giant spider disguised as a priest. He speaks softly in human language and pretends to be holy to prey on his followers.
I made it bigger since I drew it as a monster.
I spent a lot of time painting this here in this room.

two-striped green buprestid
I used all the free time I had today to add details to my sketches.
This beetle is really interesting.
I also like the rough draft, so I hope you'll compare them.
This insect’s body is actually a bit longer, but in my drawing it looks shorter because I put in too much detail:-(
Today's practice.

This is terrifyingly beautifully tragically generously amazing.
Looks like something you'd find in an alternate universe's temple... like something trying to imitate one of Gods angels... gosh that's so cool...
...wow...
I saw you working this, and dang....it's beautiful, in greyscale the values were spot on. And somehow you made it look even better. You're one of my favorite artist here on Magma, keep up the good work!
where have you been? also this is freaking amazing
