So back in 2009, Ronaldo allegedly raped Kathryn Mayorga in a hotel in Las Vegas. In 2010, she was paid more than $375,00 in hush money so that the public wouldn't find out about the allegations. This was an out-of-court settlement.
The Las Vegas police said "cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt" meaning that they would not press charges against Ronaldo.
Even though they couldn't press charges, the medical team that examined her after she got raped stated that there was “a circumferential swelling with bruising and a laceration”.
So it was clear that she had been raped at the time.
The case was later reopened in 2019 when Kathryn Mayorga filed a lawsuit.
Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson stated: "Too much time had passed and evidence failed to show that Mayorga's accusation could be proved to a jury."
Kathryn Mayorga's lead lawyer was then fined $335,000 for the allegations against Ronaldo.

I cant believe that tadc is coming to an end because it still feels like everyone was freaking out about the trailer and pilot yesterday. up until ep 4, it still felt like the show was still just starting, and then ep 5 and 6 were released so close together and everything started going so fast. I know I'm being really dramatic about this, but tadc is one of my main fandoms that I love very dearly and will always hold a special place in my heart (despite the toxic aspects of the fandom) and I will miss this era. seeing it end is so bittersweet, and having it even come to cinemas really brings everything all together. I just rewatched the pilot, trailers, and ads and seeing all the references and connections after it ending is just something.
