Not exactly. In this case, the person is bisexual due to their attraction to both women and men. In the case of a straight person liking the opposite gender, then the person they are attracted to being transgender, they may still be straight but let gender go for that individual. The same thing goes for gay persons; they may be in a relationship with the opposite gender yet still be gay and attracted to the same gender. In cases where the attracted individual's sexuality does change, they may identify as a multisexual sexuality instead of just 'straight' or 'gay'.

Examples include but not limited to identifying as:
- Bisexual (an umbrella term for attraction to two and sometimes more genders)
- Polysexual (a more specific term for someone attracted to multiple but not all genders)
- Omnisexual (attraction to all genders where gender plays a part in that attraction)
- Pansexual (attraction to anyone regardless of gender)
