Found this old poem I wrote:
Crumbled with time.
The papers are yellow, tarnished with dust from unforgivable silence.
Unforgettable silence.
Silence that becomes thick with exhaustion of each generation that ignores it.
Forgotten with time.
The lettering is neat, words close together, proving to not be frantic.
Irreversible cleanliness.
Cleanliness that fades away after a year or two, causing people to forget and forgo reason.
Remembered with time.
The papers are not pristine, much like you and I.
Rediscovered imperfections.
Imperfections that stay there.
Imperfections that retain their own shattered beauty, reminiscing in the glares of the mighty.
Imperfections that are only to become more beautiful with time.
So basically, I got up this morning and my dad knocked over a vacuum. He starts heading downstairs and tries gaslighting me into thinking I knocked it over. I RESPECTFULLY say I did not, but he rolls his eyes, goes downstairs, etc.
Later when I'm cleaning my room, he says something like "Oh btw did you pick up that vacuum you knocked over?" and I'm just like
"Yea I picked up the vacuum that you knocked over" AND I SHIT YOU NOT, HE JUST STARTS CRASHING OUT OVER THIS GODDAMN VACUUM while I stand there with a cheap pirate flag I got on vacation. He ends up forcing me to apologize for something COMPLETELY FALSE, and takes away my screens for 5 days.
I was literally crying after that, because he said that since I wasn't showing him affection or anything, he was gonna be mean. I can't "love" if I don't see it first, and it's completely fine to be wrong and have physical boundaries.
So anyway I sit and think. I don't normally cry after arguments but this was just after vacation. To give some context, everyone except my dad stayed in a hotel with a balcony.
It was HARD not to jump. I remember having one foot over the railing, but my acrophobia won out.
So, in summary, please don't yell at me right after I try to oof myself for like the 13th time. (0 days clean as well...)
EDIT: That number could possibly be more. I don't keep active count.
