this remindes me of the times i used to flee into my imagination or into books when i was going through a depressive patch (wont go into it bc magma might lowkey block my butt) and lost my will to survive.. took years to get better. the small joys of books and letting myself "go into the rabbit whole" (imagination where i control it yet it feels real) kept me from doing somthing i would regret.. somtimes as humans we look at all the step left to go.. we forget to look back and see how many steps we have already taken.
