The Harvington family home lay in ashes and rubble, the father, Harvey, found buried deep inside.
Assumed to have died via fire, a second examination by a coroner revealed that he'd died days earlier from a massive amount of damage to his arms, torso, and head - revealing his horrific murder.
With many leads, but no evidence, Mrs. Eun-Mi Harvington is set to stand trial for negligence and the mishandling of a corpse....
Until the detective on their case walks in with the living corpse of Mr. Harvey Harvington himself.

The Human Expenditure Program / Bloodmoney 2 came out a few days ago with an even more horrific addition to the story. Logically, we needed to draw Harvey again
Detective character from previous post, Harvey drawn in a similar style

Discovered a few monster designs and decided to redraw them
The ink monster is attempting to lure and eat the other one, which is not working, as the one in purple believes she's flirting. No one quite has any idea what's going on and that's okay

There are two types of people: Those who struggle with magic, and those who don't.
Those who thrive casting spells and bending the world to their wills enjoy showing off by traveling through and disrupting time and space, often with detrimental consequences.
One of such consequences is encountering a Guardian - Unseen to those whose time flows forward, but a nuance to those who disrupt the flow.
As such a Guardian, the Prince enjoys not only stopping these time anarchists, but toying with them - Belittling and mocking their inferior skill and understanding of the universe - Something seen as unprofessional by other Guardians.
There is great study into how to avoid this Guardian due to its genuinely Eldritch nature - speaking whispers of things that can never be unheard - but the success thus far is null.
It's best not to toy with things outside your understanding, no matter how tempting it may be.

An effective and highly sought after detective, he does his best work digging deep into niche topics and unraveling long untold mysteries.
Despite his helpful demeanor and work ethic, people who work with him tend to warn others against getting close to him - As those who do often vanish, and those who return to so with unbelievable stories of what happened to them.
No one knows exactly who he is or where he came from, not even a name - but everyone has learned not to shake hands with the devil.

Story inspiration - Devil in Disguise by Marino
Design inspiration - Detective Noir movies, Bendy and the Ink Machine fanart, My Hero Academia's Yakuza / powers, general demonology and the idea of sin
