if you do analog inked works and you sketched with blue pencil, you can clean up your artwork digitally by:
- go to curves (filter), select red channel, make the node on the right go down so the curve becomes horizontal, repeat with green channel
- if done correctly, the white part of the paper should be blue while the inked part be black
- desaturate via HSV filter, now you should have an inked work on 50% grey paper
- use brightness/contrast and curves to your liking
- now you can clean up your ink work digitally
- (add color via multiply layer on top of the ink layer if you want to color your inked work)

Note to self: if u accidentally make a really bad value decision (contrast by value), then contrast by hue and saturation is the answer
