Silly guy who likes to draw :3
She died.
He followed.
A third, who loved them both.
A third, who needed them both.
Only one was all he needed in truth
But alas, that was too much to ask as well.
Now he sits
In the dark, empty cavern
That was once so warm.
What now?
The man stood alone. He had nobody.
The galaxy was before him. She had nobody.
“Why have you left us?” The man asked the galaxy.
“It was not my choice.” The galaxy replied. “There was nothing I could have done.”
“We miss you.” Said the man. “He misses you.”
“I know he does… I miss him too.” She replied.
“He is not there anymore.”
“What?” Asked the galaxy. Her eyes were filled with the sorrows of loss and mortal suffering.
“He has left us as well.” The man stood as he had before. “He lies beneath the tree.”
“All I cherish- It is gone?” The galaxy was a vast and cold reality.
“Yes.”
“What reason, then, have I to live?” She asked.
“None.”
“And you?”
“You both have left us. I have nobody.”
“So what reason, then, have you to live?”
“None.”
Is it just me, or can you also spend hours upon hours looking at other peoples' drawings?
It's not that they're all amazing, it's just the crushing weight that you'll never be that brave or that skillful
That nothing you ever create will even begin to measure up to what others have done
Just the irrepressible urge to stop trying
And just let others fill in the gaps that you know you will never be able to?
It just sucks- Wanting to draw so bad but always having that overwhelming pressure not to
