It makes me feel
free.
As if I'm being
washed away.
The cold water
falling,
falling,
falling,
down, onto my face.
Awaken me, fill me
up with joy.
I sometimes like to
think
The rain holds
empathy.
In every droplet
falling
Onto the ground,
It's reaching out,
but people run
Away.
My heart, cased in
stone,
Is grateful for the
rain.
Life blooms inside
me.
I feel the rain's
gentle caress
As it cries my
tears for me.
I sometimes think
If I could cry,
I would do so now.
But not of sadness.
Of joy.
Of the bittersweet
of it all.

okay so some things that aren't mentioned in her bio but are also part of what she is:
she's about 5% permanently ghost due to the mask thing on her face that's a curse. It actually kind of works in her favor since being part ghost means she doesn't have to ingest as much blood, and blood curd is easier for her to digest and get energy from.
She's quite silly and whimsical, often walking with gracefulness.
Her skin is permanently cold to the touch (on account of the curse).
She has a limited lifespan due to the curse. Every so often, the percentage of ghost will increase, and when she reaches 100 she just kinda disappears. But she has time :)
She's homeschooled and is actually quite intelligent.
Only her best friend and her tutor knows her secret.
She dresses normally outside of the house.
