I am joining Angel Ganev's "5 Days Portrait Drawing Challenge" live on YouTube. The drawing of a lady wearing a headband on the right side of the canvas is the result of my first attempt to apply the approach of trying to see the foundation that shapes the whole portrait of a person. I personally think that the hair line and the jaw line look off and not so proportional I can't seem to fully catch the facial structure of the lady in the reference image that well. I am definitely looking forward to join more of Angel Ganev's live tutorial on YouTube and improve together with the Doodle Warrior community.

The finished looks of my Smiling Apple drawing. In the drawing you will be able to see there are three trees on the background and a plain yard with some grass on it. The middle ground shows the said fallen apple. It still has a single leaf attached on it. I made this apple to be smiling towards the camera/the viewers to make my drawing looks less serious. I wanna add a bit of life into the apple. The foreground of my drawing shows more grass but it looks brighter compared to the the grass behind the trees in the background. I added some tiny violet, light grey, and red flowers among the grass to make it look a bit diverse instead of just plain green grass.

I first started drawing this last week on 7th of February 2026 but I didn't finish it right away. since I couldn't commit myself in finishing this drawing entirely I decided to continue this WIP a week later on Saturday, 14th of February. At first I wanted to color the liquid inside the potion bottle to look green as if it is the extract or a puree of some herbal plants Then, I changed my mind and decided to make the liquid looking red like blood because I love vampires. Since I am into dragons and a huge fan of anything fantasy, I am turning this potion into wyvern's blood that is kept in a jar. I do not know for sure if wyvern's blood has some healing property or it tends to be lethal in a way that we can use it as a weaponI might need to look it up in order to find some cool and interesting facts on wyverns.

This is the first art jam I joined in It was fun drawing with these guys. I drew my OC (located on the bottom left corner), Steve, holding a banana which was drawn by another artist.
