Velasco is a Spanish mayor general. He lives in Nueva granada. When he was still a young man, he was friends to a family that came from Santa Fé de Bogotá to Cartagena. They had a few monetary issues but were good people. The mother of the family proposed an marriage between him and her daughter, Carensa. Velasco agreed, their daughter was around his age. We'll behaved, good looking, Artistic, would make a great wife. He grew relatively close to her but she always seemed... Distant. Her father took her to a fishing trip for a few weeks. But they were never to be seen again, everyone who knew them said they were probably swallowed by sea beasts. And no one argued.
Twelve years later, he sees a familiar black pelt. He is glad to see carensa again. He and her mother invite her and her husband to dine and stay at their place, but soon after next morning, one of the children from the husband's past marriage. Screams they're pirates, the famous pirates of the red iris whom Velasco has heard so many stories about.
He now has to survive as a hostage while surrounded by all the sins he has taught to avoid.
Doña mireya :3
doña mireya is an old lady in nueva granada. shes noyomi's mother. very traditional and well behaved. due to her family struggling. she wanted to marry off her daugther Carensa. off to a spaniard guard-vellasco- so their family would be able to be financially stable.
Her husband, Harlow and Carensa weren't fond of this at all. and ended up leaving to the sea in order to find another way to get money. they were caugth by pirates soon after. leaving mireya believing they had died at sea.
12 years later. Her daughter carensa comes back to Nueva granada. Her chest unnaturally flat. Left hand hidden under her sleeve and accompanied by a husband and his children from a past relationship.
Soon after. She finds out that her husband died at the gallows. A proud pirate captain. And that carensa, has become a man woman...
Yeah um so they all used to be fnaf ocs. Atleast the grand mayority.

Henry montagu is the captain of the indigo flame. the most recognisable pirate hunters across the seas. hes on the chase for the legendary red iris. he knows none will hide from his judging hand.
(also i have so many unfinished drawings ill be posting at the same time because theyre basically nothing from being completed :3 )
