i personally dont believe something needs to be expressed for it to be called art. i could doodle some random crap, add colors and someone will see it as art. maybe you dont, but someone else does! maybe you will slowly begin to believe in your art more rather than seeing them as “doodles” because i surely dont! i hope one day you call yourself an artist, because i think of you as a really great one
