You have to imagine crickets, frogs, and birds as background noise

Underrated artist right here! This is gorgeous! As someone who spends early mornings and late nights by a pond, I find this sooo nostalgic. Thank you for allowing me to gaze at this masterpiece. :>
@nathan-atack โฆ hmm, well, usually I picture the whole scene in my head first โฆ I find it easier to start with the background to establish the perspective, so I can place the person within that space โฆ I start with a loose, flowing, stick-figure-like skeletal framework and then use simple organic shapes to model the human figureโwow, thatโs really hard to explain
โฆ I hope it makes some sense and was helpful to you in some way ๐ฆ
Wow. The way you draw people is amazing. I've been trying to get better at posing, but a lot of times they feel stiff. I try using references, but I don't always have them. What would be your best piece of advice for drawing a pose that feels and looks real when you don't have a reference with you?

first of all thank youuuuuU! so much๐ซถ๐ป
But nope
I donโt buy thatโฆgiven your talent Iโm pretty sure you could draw great-looking humans
! Just go for it โ I see great potential!
โฆshouldโve seen the ..creatures I produced earlier in life ๐ง xD - still struggling especially with hands ๐ค๐ป I constantly have to stop myself from hiding them in pockets or finding other excuses
๐๐ฝโโ๏ธโฆbut if you ever want a drawing buddy to give you a few pointers (even though Iโm not at all qualified
), I'd be happy to help๐ฆฆ
(..just for the record โ if a gun were involved ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
I'd draw a very nervous-looking stick figure at best๐ช)
Wow! This is incredibly impressive! The colors are mighty fine! And that coupled with your crazy skill with drawing human-beings- you make it look so easy; but if a gun was held to my head lest I drew a normal looking human, I'd might as well go without humiliation :)

I love all the technical details you captured on the camera! Also, the colors in the photograph ACTUALLY make it look like it was captured with the camera; really cool! (That blur works really good for a camera)
Also: did you write all the letters in the background yourself?!?
