I'm going to be inactive for quite a while because a close friend of mine recently passed away. I apologize for being gone.

GUYS sign this and share with friends! It's a petition I've heard about from friends, and it's a petition to keep screens for kids and teens who need them as an outlet, despite government laws, protesting against those. More information on the website! https://chng.it/wCKCMHbB4M

(My last post before going inactive!)
Can we PLEASE stop romanticizing/sexualizing mental illness? It's a DISABILITY, not a collectable thing. (Of course, those of us who deal with mental illnesses are disabled, and not helpless.) I've seen so much content lately making mental illnesses appear cute and/or quirky. This is wrong and disrespectful to people who deal with it. From personal experience and the experience of close friends, this also leads to the normalization of these mental illnesses and struggles, causing those who deal with them to often feel invalidated because something that is a big deal to them is normalized by society. The idea is to common, and mental illness needs to stop being normalized (not saying we shouldn't accept mentally ill people, we absolutely should, more so than we do) and romanticized. (CREDITS TO usrunknown for the art)
