I don't love The Amazing Digital Circus just because it's colorful or funny.I love it because I relate to many of the sad feelings the characters experience,and sometimes their emotions and struggles remind me of my own.I love Tim Burton's work because it makes me feel comfortable and at home.Drawing is my safe place,and I often create worlds in my head,so his stories and art feel very special to me.Heartstopper is special because I relate to Charlie in many ways.I understand his overthinking,the way he sees himself,and how he apologizes even when he doesn't need to.I don't love these stories only because they are entertaining.I love them because they show that life can be difficult,confusing,and painful sometimes,and they help me feel understood when I find it hard to explain my own feelings.
