a little lore on him!! he actually beat his androids! and unlocked up to ssg! (he fell in the xenoverse timeline aganst the powered up goku black) but yeah! in his timeline Gero OVER-ESTIMATED the Z fighters. and sent out a ARMY of androids all equal to 16. (alog with 17 and 18 as the generals) after about half of the Z fighters died Perfect Cell showed up (while they were defending citys and such Cell absorbed 17 and 18) and he and his worlds Goku went off to fight. (mind you he was weakend by a heart virus he did not know of. trunks was wiped out with bulma before he was even able to fight) after falling to Cell he came back to Gohan Vegeta and a weakened Krillin. (in tihs timeline Gohan and Goku were brothers. Vegeta was the child of Gohan. its weid and i havent ironed out all the details yet) he fought them all and bested Vegeta and Krillin easily. Gohan hit that "SUPER DRAGON FISSSTT!!!!!!!!" and blew off his right arm. he nearly beat cell... till he regenerated. and beat the shit outta gohan. he spared him so hed have someone to "maybe someday best perfection. althougth that WONT. be happening." (it did) its also how he unlocked ssj2 and continued his training. eventually faceing Buu and unlocking ssj3. only meeting Goku Black did he unlock the use of God Ki. and was visited by the Time Patrol. for they (along with a piccilo varient of Jack (ill do him at a later date) fought the powered up Goku Black. (and lost). annnnd thats how he dies!
