I’d recommend starting with getting proportions and anatomy down on a screen and then start visually copying your favorite artist (no tracing, but if you do, don’t post your drawing). It also took me 3 years to get this good at digital art, but I was already doing traditional since elementary and took a sketch book with me everywhere.
