It's really not much, but I haven't completed any drawings for a long while now so it means something [:`
For context, I joined a jam hosted by @Mochi_games titled “Make ur OC drinking a sip of water” and, naturally,,, had to draw Avis drinking carbonwater.

I genuinly had so much fun going through all the little scenes with each character, its so cute and cool gen. Beautiful drawing, colors, compostion, oc's, everything.

So instead of working on reference sheets and preparing my page and my characters for Art Fight, I threw a fit and drew Avis and Master Levi Bonnington napping instead.
It's no masterpiece, but it's one of those drawings where you're really happy with some aspect of it and you can't just put it away. I'm overjoyed with how Avis' face turned out!

Also the cat (which belongs to Florence) is probably blocking his breathing thing but ummm oh well

any alien who's any alien has heard this guy's name. Mostly because it's an exclamation in Hicornorthian.
He's like Houdini, but.. intergalactically.
He was an immortal creature from Ironkeg who, after achieving all that he possibly could in this galaxy, had nothing left to do but fly directly into Sagittarius A. El Macho style.
The black hole has since been called “Plux Olao” in his honor.
(Which translates to “Bad Idea”)

I couldn't resist an opportunity to draw my favorite robot!
For context, this pop-art is based off that one advertisement for “Carbon Water.”
It is a terrible product that tastes like soda base. Pure, highly carbonated, unflavored H²O. Aliens love it.

@fish 🎃🍂 I've had sparkling water, and then I've had carbonwater. They sound similar in theory, but the taste of sparkling water doesn't exactly give me that “I want to dive out of a plane” feeling like this stuff does. To be honest, if I swung open the door to my fridge and found that my sparkling water had been replaced with carbonwater, I would go and check my laundry machine for detergent to drink instead.
Pure, highly carbonated, unflavored H²O... sparkling water?
Wildly simple recreation of that scenic shot in Hazardtown when Jones eats a (semi-ancient) sandwich sitting on the turret of a big old tank...
(You should never sit on the turret of a tank, I have no idea if it can even support any weight, but ig Jones does what she wants 
)

Lore Edit! • He's a retired Rumblemug war machine. Nowadays he builds and repairs rocket ships in a scrap shop that he owns, with the dream of a glorious rocket-company-legacy type thing in mind. He's a big grouch with a big heart.
He built and raised Avis! (So that's where he gets his pessimistic sense of humor from)
He scares off all of the locals.
He is based off a creature I saw in a dream once, pretty sure it was supposed to be Grimace mixed with Jabba the Hutt mixed with the Great Jagras from Monster Hunter.
He is also huge to be clear. This is no small critter.
