Before you post, before you answer a DM request from a stranger, before you click on a strange link... perhaps give some thought to your own online safety.

Never share any personally identifiable information, do not share images of yourself with strangers on the platform, especially as a minor. It's the internet and you can't be sure who is on the other side.

We have a basic guide with tips on staying safe on Magma but it's helpful to discuss this with parents and teachers too if you can.

Discrimination, hate speech, bullying, harassment and trolling have no place in our community. We’ll continue doing our best to make Magma a safe and welcoming place to create and connect.

Be safe, be cool, and happy drawing!

@Magma i got an idea for the report system. I talked about it in the art jam automatic flag, but i don't know if you have seen it. I also feel like there should be limit for accounts, mainly to stop harassers from harassing (via device if possible) . I have other ideas too

That cool

Magma•1mo•Edited•Recommended

Recently, we switched to a randomized order of live Art Jams to help new and smaller Jams to get seen. We saw some great results with that but also noted your requests for being able to sort by the most popular again and also be able to search.

Well now you can!

We've added different sorting options and a search bar to the Live Jams section. You can search based on the title of the Jam and the host's name.
Go test it out!

Want to keep your chat channels clean? Try out the new automatic moderation feature available for Artspace channels and Art Jam chat.

We think this will be a great feature for live streamers, event hosts, and large communities.

You can choose to either hide offensive words or swearing as well. This setting is not enabled by default. You can decide which channels in your Artspace and which Art Jams you want it to be active for.

We have more details in our user guide here

WAIT THIS IS SO GOOD!

So pretty

Artists can gift each other Mags, yes

so like gifting can getu mags

@Magma ah okay thank you for letting me know

@𝔯𝔞𝔢 this sometimes happens if you join a canvas before logging in or if there is some delay in loading your user data when you join a canvas. You will probably see that the user appears to have joined around the same time that you did but is not actually on the canvas. It's usually just you as being detected as an anonymous user, so it's nothing to worry about

hey @Magma random bot accounts keep joining my private canvases do you think you could look into it? its been happening to some others too

Magma may you answer my Q please? Xoxo - Mother Raven

did the mag each month just got added? I bough sub last year and got 5k mags, and havent gotten any after.

@parslay this is already possible. See the guide here: https://help.magma.com/en/articles/6845211-transform-tool

Hopefully when I get a job next year I can get the Blaze subscription. Anyway, if you don't have time right now you don't have to do this, but could you consider having a distortion feature? Like kind of like the resizing tool we already have, but make an option to be able to drag and stretch that square into, like, a triangle or rhombus or something, if that makes sense.

This website has adds?

yes I did but I'm broke

Add animating like procreate but plz don't paywall it I'm a broke artist dawg

MAGMA, MAGMA, MAGMA! Okay SO, I REALLY love ya'll and I was wondering, if I make a thank you magma or yall are wonderful magma drawling could y'all post it. Anyway.
xoxo -Mother Raven

This is tempting 0_o

if magma is a good drawing website, it would definitely be a good animating website.

@bugaboos-drawing If that's the case, then please get them to reach out to our support chat with more info so that we can try to find where the problem is.

@Stale Read the announcement here about launching the creator economy on Magma https://magma.com/blog/mags-creator-economy

I still don't get the use of mags other than incentive to fund magma

This thing is rigged my bff subscribed and she only got on emag thing a month
