Sorry for not really posting or drawing for that matter lol, I’ve been really focused on my AP government and my AP art stuff that’s mostly traditional media rather than my digital art so it’s been hard to stay consistent especially with already having homework so I’ve just been chudding out on animal crossing lately. Or as my therapist calls it “healthy real life escapism”

I love everyone’s art so much I just PANIC because I don’t wanna seem stalkerish but then I also don’t want people to think I’m ignoring them and then I put it off until people post again and the cycle repeats I’m not even on twtter or anything like that and I’m still annoyed with social media’s affects on me and my family tbh

Maybe I’m either too busy or something but I’m kind of burning out on magma I’ll be online on Roblox usually but I kind of feel like this isn’t the space that I want to be on anymore as I’m aware that most of the people on here are younger than me. So I’m always really satisfied with my lineart that I do and I’m on another piece rn so I was wondering if anyone had any tips for making coloring less insufferable because I always feel like it takes away from my lineart rather than making it more harmonious in the final product

i hope these help a little bit- and your lineart is very beautiful!
I always have this concern too but less so than i used to, i think my tips would be 1 - if you're planning on coloring it keep the colors you're using on each place in mind, and if you find you're making a section very detailed but it might get sabotaged by dark colors don't put as much detail into the black lineart there. 2, even though i'm pretty bad at it shading/highlighting does help quite a bit in making your lining more prominent and noticeable rather than just blending in, especially with darker colors. a 3rd tip is more simple in just studying others' art who also have beautiful lineart that incorporates color as well
