I got the award for getting the highest grade in the STEM program at my school for my year! It was only for the past semester, so someone else may get it next time. from the 8th to the 10th May, wear blue to respect the passing of 14yr old Dolly, and to show your dislike of bullying and cyberbullying.
Dolly Everett was an Australian girl who took her own life at 14 years old in 2018. She was bullied extensively at school and online, and was driven to k/lling herself by the horrible mistreatment of herself by other peers. Dolly Everett's Parents made the Do it for Dolly and Go Blue as a fundraiser and awareness raiser for bullying. Young Dolly's favourite colour was blue, the reason why blue is the colour to wear.
Please, you do not need to wear blue if you don't want to or forgot or have any reason at all, but try to if you can.
I hope you are proud of us Dolly, fly high.
