"FOE"

To celebrate the coming turn of the millennium, the wizard Mucinex gathered his ragtag band of misfit magic men to hold a grand festival within the local wilderness.

Hexes were placed on all manner of things, organic and inorganic; bringing life, taking life, transmogrifying...by the end, the newborn creatures would scatter throughout the wood, spreading their lineage throughout the surrounding regions as a race of too-deadly invasive species.

...All, but one. A simple wizard hat Mucinex had brought life to as a practical inside joke between him and his entourage.
Lost, confused, and knowing nothing of the world but the ignorance of the one who bore them, the hat led its own journey through the woods.

Alone, it stuck to its own embedded resourcefulness and sense of direction, eventually discovering that its magic infusions allowed it to take control of whatever being wore it, its tassels burrowing deep into their brains and using them as undying vessels.

Eventually, across their many years, the hat got their claws on a particularly interesting vessel: a rebellious hair troll from a backwoods village in the west.

By all accounts, her body, able to naturally regenerate any damages due to her unique constitution, would have been the perfect host for them to inhabit for many decades to come.

But, they were too greedy, and during their desperate grab for power, the girl was able to resist their hijacking in some way.
The two now live as the halves of two minds, inhabiting a merged body.

Donning the mantle of "FOE", she would now live for the one thing that both of her original forms could find joy in: being an ass to adventurers!

Though continued brawls and exposure to the elements has left her body ripping apart at the seams, FOE lives on and takes it in stride, picking up anything and everything and stuffing it into her shuffling mass of a body.

Her primary weapon is an obvious facet of this: Two giant plugs, the exposed wires shooting out as catalysts of fiery destruction.
