Tried another friendly design duel theme Drizzle sub theme relic.
Wish I had more time for further refining, might revisit in the near future...

I'm an old fart who recently discovered magma again, I enjoy drawing and interacting with fellow artists (yes you are all artists!)
Hope to meet nice people and learn a few things in the process as well :) practice makes perfect and it's even more enjoyable when you're just having fun!
Also looking for people from Europe (elsewhere welcome too of course) to draw together in the same timezone...
Most of my active hours during weekdays: between 20-0.00h GMT +1
During weekends, you can find me drawing throughout the daytime and late evenings in the GMT+1 timezone...
If you wanna jam together drop me a line on discord @Monoeil on Magma :)
Feel free to check out my sketchbook on the magma discord if you like what you see.
I tend to have more ideas than I can often draw...

Doodled something and attempted to throw some colors on it :)
It’s soo creative tho
so coolll <333 i love the colors
Finished my commission for now,
Will let it stew for a night and have a fresh look at it tomorrow to see if it needs any finishing touches or a final pass before printing and prepping for handover :)
Portrait took all in all about three hours time.
WOWOWOWOWOW
@scenefurryxd I mostly use a painterly brush I found the settings for somewhere on discord I thought. Alternating between the brush sizes mostly for finer sharper lines and larger for broader softer strokes of "paint". Turning flow pressure sensitivity on and off if I want softer or firmer strokes. Same with blend mode for same brush. Background was blended with a different brush tip. Will see if I can make a post some day with examples and settings...
Decided to treat our little hoplite like a toy soldier whom we equipped with his spear, gave me a good excuse to practice more hands.
Wonder what mistakes I'll spot tomorrow :)
Thank you :)
Wowww awesome work, very accurate and creative!!
Quick coloring attempt but think its a bit oversaturrated... if anyone has coloring tips feel free to pass them on :)
Thanks all, someday I'll get the hang of it I hope...
From wikipedia as I had to look it up ;)
The Dullahan (Irish: Dubhlachan; dúlachán, /ˈduːləˌhɑːn/) is a type of legendary creature in Irish folklore. He is depicted as a headless rider on a black horse, or as a coachman, who carries his own head. As it is not widely described in native sources, and no references to it appears on the Irish Folklore Commission's website, there is doubt as to whether the Dullahan was originally a part of the Irish oral tradition.
Description
He is depicted as a headless horseman, typically on a black horse, who may carry his own head in his hand or under his arm. The severed head has a revolting appearance, as in Croker's tale "The Headless Horseman":
..such a head no mortal ever saw before. It looked like a large cream cheese hung round with black puddings: no speck of colour enlivened the ashy paleness of the depressed features; the skin lay stretched over the unearthly surface almost like the parchment head of a drum. Two fiery eyes of prodigious circumference, with a strange and irregular motion, flashed like meteors.
Hope you like it.
This is amazing :O
@anonymous-l4c Think it could be better if I had more time but was on a daily time budget...
Who comes up with these prompts, first fried chickens, then legless spiders... poor creatures.
Anyway our friend Spider won't be able to race anymore...
@Likewise sorry didn't have time left for a bg....
And why do I lose sleep over these prompts? :D
@Willow tree that's a lot of words!
Was a fun prompt to draw but got impatient near the end... might need some more refining in the future maybe...
@Willow tree thanks some day I'll improve it and correct the mistakes though... ;)
Aaaah wow so cool
great work
What can I say, the black sheep...
Thanks all, glad you all like it! Makes the black sheep feel a bit more loved :D meeeeeh happy, you happy, everyone happy!!
Refined my steampunk piece a bit, were some details in the old one that didn't work as well, only part I'm still not happy with is the older lady on the left...
@⋅˚₊‧ ୨ 𝓚𝓲𝔀𝓲 ୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ thanks :)
Enjoyed drawing this piece so decided to refine it a bit further...
Ahh, wow so cool, the textures are so realistic!
