Art Things I Want to Learn
I want learn more art tips that can help me draw better. I want know what Alpha Lock does and when I should use it because I still don't really understand it. 🖌️ I also want learn how to make my own brushes better by changing the brush settings because I don't know what most of them do.
I also want learn other art tricks that artists use, like making drawings smoother, shading better, and coloring faster. I think learning these things will help me improve my art and make drawing more fun.
literally took me a bit long I'm glad it didn't took me so long
cute!!!!!
lazy to draw im going to finish it later
chatgpt:Here is all the basic color theory in an easy way:
1. Primary Colors
Colors you cannot make by mixing other colors.
Traditional art (paint):
Red
Blue
🟡 Yellow 2. Secondary Colors
Made by mixing two primary colors:
Red + 🟡 Yellow = 🟠 Orange
🟡 Yellow + Blue = 🟢 Green Blue + Red = 🟣 Purple 3. Tertiary Colors
Made by mixing a primary + a secondary color:
Yellow + Orange = Yellow-orange
Red + Orange = Red-orange
Red + Purple = Red-purple
Blue + Purple = Blue-purple
Blue + Green = Blue-green
Yellow + Green = Yellow-green
Color Wheel
A circle that shows how colors connect:
Primary → Secondary → Tertiary
It helps artists choose colors that look good together.
Warm Colors
Colors that feel hot, energetic, or cozy:
Red
Orange
Yellow
Pink (often)
Some purples
Examples: fire, sunset, sunlight
❄️ Cool Colors
Colors that feel calm, cold, or peaceful:
Blue
Green
Purple
Examples:
❄️ ocean, sky, forests
Neutral Colors
Colors that are not strongly warm or cool:
Black
White
Gray
Brown
Beige
Color Harmonies (Color Combinations)
1. Complementary Colors
Colors opposite each other on the color wheel.
Examples:
Red + Green
Blue + Orange
Yellow + Purple
Creates strong contrast.
2. Analogous Colors
Colors next to each other on the wheel.
Examples:
Blue + Blue-green + Green
Looks smooth and peaceful.
3. Triadic Colors
Three colors evenly spaced on the wheel.
Examples:
Red + Yellow + Blue
Balanced and colorful.
4. Split Complementary
One color + the two colors beside its opposite.
Example:
Blue + Yellow-orange + Red-orange
High contrast but softer than complementary.
5. Monochromatic
Different shades of one color.
Example:
Light blue
Blue
Dark blue
Simple and elegant.
6. Tetradic (Double Complementary)
Two pairs of opposite colors.
Example:
Blue + Orange + Red + Green
Very colorful and complex.
