Hello everyone! ‼️⚠️ TAKE THE TIME TO READ AND REPOST THIS POST, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!! ‼️⚠️ As some of you know, there are users on Magma right now who are having fun insulting the LGBTQ+ community and making people uncomfortable. So, I am here to share the facts of this matter with you so we can get them banned as quickly as possible. Magma is an app meant for drawing and collaboration, not for making people feel discriminated against and uncomfortable. I know that by calling these people out, I risk getting banned myself for "public humiliation," but I am willing to take that risk so Magma can become a safe place for artists again.
To start off, the whole story began when a user—let's call her "V" for the sake of the story (I will put the links at the end though)—wrote publicly in her bio that she did not support the "rainbow community" (which is totally respectable for now). However, she also took the time to specify that they needed therapy and that she found it funny to "piss 'em off." People started by trying to understand the reason behind this insult in her bio (because obviously, these comments were not going to work in her favor). But she just kept adding fuel to the fire, specifying that the bi flag was "nasty" and making all kinds of other unpleasant comments.
Several users started trying to reason with her, but she just defended herself with that famous excuse she keeps repeating enthusiastically: "It's my opinion, I have the right to think what I want and support whoever I want, so stop harassing me for it because I don't understand why you are doing this since I 'never had beef with you.'" And the icing on the cake: she was following dozens of queer users. Report her as fast as possible, she made a lot of people uncomfortable.
I also wanted to mention one of her supporters; we can nickname him "R" if you want. He is present in several comment sections on V's page, insulting and randomly provoking any user who tried to reason with V using completely stupid arguments.
So there you go, I just wanted to share the situation with you before it gets worse. Also, a quick message to V and R (who probably won't see this, because I blocked and reported them with pleasure): I have screenshots of all your conversations where you wrote provocative things, so there is no point in deleting them so Magma doesn't see them. :)
